As Nuke Talks Go On, Iran Gets Cash
The federal government gives so much money away, it’s now giving money to our enemies. As part of the talks with Iran, the U.S. is giving Iran billions of dollars in cash they can freely spend. Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) told the Washington Free Beacon, “Between November 2014 and July 2015, the interim deal’s direct forms of sanctions relief will allow Iran access to roughly $4.9 billion in frozen money. That’s equal to what it’d cost Iran to fund Hezbollah for as much as 50 years.” To put this into perspective, the state sponsor of terrorism funds Hezbollah $100 to $200 million, according to the Pentagon. Honest question here: While America is giving all these concessions and carrots to Iran, where are the signs that Iran is willing to meet halfway on this nuclear deal?
