More Than 100 Yemenis Killed in ISIL Bombing
Remember when Yemen was one of Barack Obama’s “success stories” for combatting terrorists? So much for that. Fox News reports, “ISIS militants claimed credit for suicide bombings that killed more than 100 and injured hundreds more in two mosques during midday prayers Friday in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, as the nation continued its collapse into chaos, terror and death amid fighting between Islam’s two major sects.” Yemen, as political analyst Charles Krauthammer put it in a column today, “went from pro-American to Iranian client so quickly the U.S. had to evacuate its embassy in a panic.” The assault in Yemen comes on the heels of the ISIL attack in Tunisia, meaning Obama might want to rethink his contempt for Benjamin Netanyahu.
