‘It Looks Like a Bomb’

Was the reaction to Ahmed’s clock as “Islamophobic” as leftists claim?

Media Research Center’s Dan Joseph visited the campus of George Mason University to get college students’ take on the brouhaha surrounding Ahmed Mohamed — the Muslim student whose arrest over a homemade clock sparked worldwide controversy and prompted sympathy from the likes of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Leftists claim the device, which school officials feared might be a bomb, is proof of Islamophobia. As more details emerge, that theory — which was already chock-full of problems — is looking even more ridiculous. And it would appear the average American would have acted just as school officials did. Here’s what Joseph discovered after showing college students only a picture of the “clock” without any other details.
