Three Americas
Contrary to an old Democrat political saw, there are more divisions than many realize.
“We are either a United people, or we are not. If the former, let us, in all matters of general concern act as a nation, which have national objects to promote, and a national character to support. If we are not, let us no longer act a farce by pretending to it.” —George Washington
During the 2004 campaign season, then-presidential candidate John Edwards lectured us about “two Americas,” the so-called “haves” versus the supposed “have-nots.” This was, and still is, nothing more than archetypal leftist class warfare.
One type Edwards and his ilk know all too well is the elitist establishment. Purveyors of all things rotten and inhumane, they surreptitiously gained merciless control over economic, educational, governmental, and religious institutions. They have neither basic compassion nor depth of soul. They are darkness personified.
Another type is the always-acquiescent minion masses who sniffle and snivel over elitist drivel. They are whiners, snitches, and boot lickers. They are also the lonely, the downtrodden, the broken-spirited who, either ignorantly or willfully, have no Light. They know no Hope. They tragically wallow in darkness and despair.
These are the only two Americas that Edwards and his elitist cohorts, in their warped world of diminutive thinking and utter lack of Godly morals, can comprehend or acknowledge. However, the elitist establishment could not be more wrong.
There are three Americas.
The first, more powerful and more prevalent type are American Patriots. They are defenders of God-given Life, Liberty, and pursuit of Happiness. Conquerors of vast oceans, looming mountains, unforgiving wilderness, rampaging rivers, inhospitable deserts, frozen tundra, and limitless heavens. Vanquishers of slavery, despots, tyrants, inhumanity, and ravaging diseases. Victors in world wars and cold wars.
Today, it is American Patriots who are called to duty in epic battle against great evil.
The elitist establishment wages open war upon American Patriots, ever lording more and more as evil taskmasters, demanding complete fealty and utter obeisance to their “new norm” of inane, capricious, and contradictory edicts. They will not willingly cede their ill-gotten gains.
The minion masses cower in fearful self-quarantine while loathing, haranguing, and besieging those who refuse to wallow in their dreadful dolor. They will neither easily turn aside from darkness nor meekly surrender their despondence.
But take heart, dear Patriots and be of good cheer. For as George Washington also noted, “We should never despair, our Situation before has been unpromising and has changed for the better, so I trust, it will again. If new difficulties arise, we must only put forth new Exertions and proportion our Efforts to the exigency of the times.” We have The Light on our side.
There is and always has been that great Light working through American Patriots. We place love of God, love of country, and love of fellow mankind above self. We battle the disinformation, fear mongering, and attacks spewing from the elitist establishment. We overcome the hindrances and harassments emanating from the minion masses. We are the foot soldiers fighting to restore our blessed Home of the Free and Land of the Brave.
And because of The Light, American Patriots — and Patriots worldwide — will now put forth even greater proportions of new exertions to boldly confront the exigencies of our time.
American Patriots, it is time to stop acting the farce that we are a united nation. It is time to acknowledge that we are under relentless attack from enemies without and from enemies within. It is time to roll up our sleeves and to gird our loins.
As American Patriot Todd Beamer said in the face of evil 19 years ago, “Let’s roll!”
