My White House Experience: Trump 2020
A BLEXIT event in DC highlighted the black community’s discontent with Democrats.
At the last stretch of the most important presidential election of our time, I stood 50 feet away from President Donald Trump. As I stood in the Rose Garden last week awaiting his first public speech since recovering from COVID-19, I enjoyed the sights and sounds. The scene was a BLEXIT event led by Candace Owens. BLEXIT chapters from around the country marched the streets of Washington, DC, to support the police with a “Back the Blue” rally. It was an amazing experience meeting people from “sea to shining sea” as fellow conservatives rallied in support of our president and law enforcement.
The event began with a march near the White House, where Candace Owens sparked the crowd with pro-law-and-order chants in support of the police. Owens exclaimed, “We right now have a media that is performing the bigotry of low expectations on minorities, saying we shouldn’t have to listen, we shouldn’t have to comply. In the process, they are now starting a movement telling people to defund the police in inner cities. This movement is led by the media, the devil, and by people who are so rich they don’t even touch their own door handles. They have private police and private security. They don’t open their mouths when young black children are being shot on the southside of Chicago and killed. When you remove police officers, the thugs stands up, the gangsters stand up! Black Americans, Latino Americans, and minority Americans are dying because the media is lying!”
As the crowd cheered, she continued, “Nobody calls a basketball player when there’s an emergency. That’s for you, LeBron James. Nobody calls for a WAP when there’s an emergency! That’s for you, Cardi B.”
As the rally ended, Brandon Tatum and Larry Elder spoke to the conditions of America in this election season. I headed toward the White House with my fellow Tennessee conservative brothers and sisters. We snuck off to get front-row access. Entering the White House from the East Wing by the Kennedy Garden toward the Rose Garden was immaculate. After getting through three security checkpoints, White House greeters welcomed me and all attendees with huge smiles, waves, flags, and bottled water. It’s like being welcomed into your own home for the first time. It is my house! It’s our house!
As hundreds of Trump supporters, BLEXIT members, and conservatives stood in masks and Trump hats, there was a sense of American togetherness. This is America!
As we anticipated the president’s address, we sang songs, exchanged laughs, took selfies, and encouraged one another. As President Trump made his first appearance since his COVID diagnosis, he was in great spirits! He walked out in his mask and quickly took it off to a roaring crowd! This event was used to highlight how the Left has left minorities out of the American Dream.
“Sleepy Joe Biden has betrayed black and Latino Americans. If you think he can run this country, you’re wrong,” Mr. Trump said. The facts don’t lie. Minority communities have been run into the ground by liberal polices, but seemingly without a fight. It’s time for David to finally stand up to Goliath. This election will determine how the next four years will either catapult us further or drag us down from behind.
“This is the single most important election in the history of our country. Get out and vote, and I love you!” Mr. Trump told the cheering crowd. I was one of hundreds to cheer in the crowd. We have 12 days until we make liberals cry again. Let’s make this November the one to remember.
