Tuesday Executive News Summary
Hunter Biden’s iCloud hacked, the ChiCom infiltration of Western business, Dr. Jill’s “breakfast tacos” flub, and more.
Top of the Fold
Hunter Biden’s iCloud hacked: New images, videos, and texts from Hunter Biden have recently surfaced online depicting Joe Biden’s son engaged in illicit drug use and other salacious activities. It all essentially shows more of the same degenerate behavior found on Hunter’s laptop. This time, a 4chan group has claimed to have hacked into Hunter’s iCloud account and published its contents online. Secret Service officials have acknowledged that they are “aware” of the “social media posts” but refused to “make public comments on potential investigative actions.” However, cyber forensics expert Konstantinos Dimitrelos contends: “Based on my analysis of the iPhone, I conclude the same results as my analysis of the MacBook Pro Laptop hard drive and iCloud synced data. The person who owns and operates this iPhone XS is Robert Hunter Biden.” It’s clear that Hunter is a walking disaster, and it’s equally clear that his father knows a lot more about his son than he’s let on.
The ChiCom infiltration of Western business: Beijing loves to welcome in Western businesses, but the welcome always comes with strings attached. Recently, those strings have become even more insidious than they already were. China’s Securities Regulatory Commission will now require foreign-owned businesses to create Communist Party cells for their Chinese operations. While initially it was assumed this rule, created in 2016, would apply only to Chinese-owned businesses, Beijing is now expanding the requirement to foreign-owned companies. “For two years Western companies investing heavily in China have dismissed ‘stakeholder’ concerns about forced labor or gross human-rights violations, arguing that their duty is to their shareholders,” The Wall Street Journal notes. “If [Xi Jinping] gets his way, these companies will answer not only to their shareholders but to [Communist] party officials.” In other words, an American company that does business in China will not simply be answerable to its stakeholders but will also be beholden to Beijing. This Faustian bargain that so many American companies eagerly agreed to in order to access the massive Chinese market is proving to undermine America’s national security on multiple levels.
Dr. Jill’s “breakfast tacos” flub: This is what playing identity politics gets you. On Monday, Joe Biden’s wife Jill was down in San Antonio, Texas, stumping for Democrats. In a speech delivered at the UnidosUS Annual Conference, Jill compared the diversity of the Hispanic community to “breakfast tacos.” Commenting on UnidosUS President Raul Yzaguirre, she stated, “Raul helped build this organization with the understanding that the diversity of this community — as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio — is your strength.” Why is it that Democrat politicians continue to make these stereotyped comparisons? This is reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s cringeworthy attempt at a black southern accent. The irony is that it is white liberal elites lamenting racial and cultural stereotypes and demanding their elimination who end up being the ones most often caught using them.
