Big Guy Slams Little Reporters

Joe Biden is becoming increasingly testy with the Fourth Estate — or at least that small subset of it which occasionally asks a tough question.

One thing Joe Biden won’t tolerate is a dumb question. And by “dumb question,” we mean any question that dares to question the questionable behavior of the Biden Crime Family.

Biden got just such a question three days ago as he was leaving the White House East Room, when an intrepid but anonymous New York Post reporter asked: “Are there tapes that you accepted bribes, President Biden? Is that true?”

As the Post tells it, 80-year-old Scranton Joey “stopped mid-stride and turned around with a smile on his face — then seemed to chuckle to himself and shook his head as he turned to walk away without saying a word.”

And then, just yesterday, at an event focused on reducing corporate junk fees, we suspect it was the same Post reporter who got him again: “Why did the Ukraine FBI informant file refer to you as the ‘big guy,’ President Biden? Why is that term continuously applied?”

This time, however, the president went beyond a mere chuckle and dignified the question with a thoughtful response: “Why do you ask such a dumb question?”

So much for speaking truth to power.

The Post’s reporters, it seems, are getting under the Big Guy’s skin. Indeed, the Biden White House has even taken the extraordinary step of banning them from official White House events.

As it turns out, though, dumb questions and New York Post reporters aren’t the only things that get under Joe Biden’s skin. He can’t stand stupid questions either. Early last year, a few weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine, as reporters were being shooed out of a nearby meeting, Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich had the nerve to ask, “Why are you waiting on Putin to make the first move, sir?”

To which Biden answered — you guessed it — “What a stupid question.”

Nor can Biden tolerate stupid people. “What a stupid son of a b**ch,” he muttered at Fox News’s Peter Doocy for the crime of having asked him whether he thought inflation would be a political liability ahead of the 2022 midterms.

Note to White House reporters: No dumb or stupid questions, and no stupid sonsab**ches asking them.

Remember, though: This is the same guy who said, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.” The same guy who said his political party chooses “truth over facts.” The same guy who said to the American people, “I’ll always tell you the truth.”

Yep, this same guy.

But try as he might to dismiss the occasional act of journalism, Joe Biden won’t be able to dodge these questions forever. Nor is the mainstream media doing him any favors by refusing to ask such questions.

“This is the biggest political corruption scandal not only in my lifetime,” said House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, “but I would say the past 100 years. You have multiple members of the Biden family profiting illegally from foreign governments.” Then, of course, you have the Big Guy himself, who has allegedly been caught on tape talking about bribes with a Burisma executive.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is especially determined to get to the bottom of all this. He says that additional bank records have been uncovered, and he believes the Bidens accepted as much at $30 million in bribes — not the measly $10 million that’s been reported recently.

Joe Biden may be able to run for a while longer. But, as Joe Louis once said, “he can’t hide.”
