Re: Huntergate: The Scandal Deepens and Widens

“The Biden corruption was done during the Obama administration. Joe did NOT make policy as VP; Obama did. He is who needed to be influenced, not Joe! We all know Obama thought Biden a fool and never sought his input. Ergo, Biden was selected and used as a bagman and patsy to take the fall should the corruption be exposed, as Joe has always been expendable. Likewise, Joe used Hunter as a bagman and patsy, as his good son had died and Hunter was easily manipulated, being an addict and all. It is NOT Hunter or Joe that they are protecting, it is Obama, as none of what Joe was doing could be accomplished without Obama’s compliance, and Obama would not do so freely.” —California

“It seems to me what we are suffering through these days is the excesses of the Baby Boomer generation coming home to roost. From Gay Pride Month to corruption at the highest levels of government and our law enforcement agencies, we are seeing the traditional rules of society thrown out the door and replaced by images of the Roaring Twenties and Anything Goes. Let us hope the next generation learns from the evil of such ways and brings to the forefront a renewal of a civilized nation.” —Colorado

Re: The Sad State of Civics Education

“When I graduated from college, I taught 9th-grade Algebra. The entire class period was spent either teaching Algebra or going over the homework that reinforced what I taught the previous day. There was no politics, no sex education — just Algebra. I later went into the field of software development. A couple of decades ago, I starting mentoring math students who were having problems. In 10 years of doing this, all of my students passed the tests required at that time to advance to the next grade. Again, all I did was teach math. The biggest problem with schools today is the lack of teaching. Too much time is wasted trying to indoctrinate social issues. We should not be surprised that math scores are down.” —Louisiana

“Surprise, surprise. We older adults know what to do; now we just have to do it. Return to the basics, and we will have success in teaching our children.” —Washington

“Homeschooling, charter schools, totally new forms of ‘school,’ and podcasts are very much changing the ground you stand on. If we can survive 10 years, these changes will drastically change the culture, and not to the progressives’ liking.” —Montana

Re: Pro-Lifers Celebrate a Big One-Year Anniversary

“Abortion was never a right or even a privilege but, as stated, a barbaric practice on the innocent and exploitation of the mothers who carried them. Women and certainly families have lost no rights but have increased ability to be protected and helped without pressure to have this barbaric procedure. Pregnancy is not a sickness or ailment, as many point out. Addressing complications still carries the medical oath to first do no harm.” —Idaho

Re: Alito Drops the Gloves

“I don’t recall any curiosity about Justice Elena Kagan’s involvement in the ObamaCare cases, even though prior to her appointment she was the Obama administration’s lead counsel in planning the legal defense of ObamaCare. In any other legal action, this would be a conflict of interest, and participation in the case as a justice would be viewed as corrupt. There was no complaint about ethics violations from the Senate or ProPublica when Justices Ginsburg and Sotomayor presided at same-sex ‘weddings’ and made public comments stating that they would rule to give them legal status — after the Obergefell v. Hodges case had been accepted, but before it had been heard. Such prejudice was very unethical. If not for double standards…” —Minnesota

Re: Casey DeSantis Gets ‘The Treatment’

“Too true that Dr. Jill is off limits and in fact must be venerated just like Obama’s wife. Yet I recall a similar description many years ago of a wife basically being her husband’s running mate — approving what he did and who he was seen with, as well as being his top advisor — and she was praised to the heavens for her take-charge attitude and unwillingness to stay home and bake cookies. Once he was elected, she was not shy about promoting the idea that she was co-president, despite the presence of his VP. That wife was Hillary Clinton, patron saint of the Dems. Casey DeSantis is equally determined to see her husband succeed in politics, yet she gets slammed for her abilities and her ambition. Typical Dem double standard.” —Pennsylvania

Re: Is the High Church of Woke Collapsing?

“It’s not hard to read where God is on things. What is hard is those who think changing the Gospel to fit their narrative —  those who can see and hear but refuse to see and hear — is making them happy about themselves. It’s wrong. God have mercy.” —Illinois

“The definition the Jesus of the Bible gave for ‘truth’ is found in John 17:17: Father, sanctify them by your Truth, Your Word is Truth. The only true definition of ‘Christian’ is found in John 3:3: Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’” —California

“This woke ideology has infected many denominations of the Christian Church, including Methodists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, and Congregationalists. We now have many new branches of each denomination seeking the basic theological and liturgical foundations of the church. It appears that such woke ideology is self-defeating in the end.” —Colorado

“Thank you for this beautiful explanation of the collapse of one church denomination. I am afraid that other denominations are taking the same road. I grew up Catholic and they continue to stray from the biblical teachings as well. I only know one thing, as Alexander noted: Those who are teachers and draw others away from God’s word will pay a huge price upon their death.” —Wisconsin

“My father was my parish priest, so I REALLY grew up in the church. This article is spot on. I think we need to make clear that embracing the LGBT(etc.) agenda is only a symptom of the disease, not the disease itself. Their disease is that these ‘enlightened’ church leaders reject the authority, primacy, sufficiency, and guidance of Scripture. They do this to the peril of their eternal spirit.” —Texas

Re: Twisted ‘Sisters’ Reap the Nothingness

“All the Los Angeles Dodgers need to do is compare the percentage of LBGTQ members they have attending games with the percentage of Roman Catholics attending games and following the team. All it takes is a little common sense. Lefties are not able to do that.” —California
