“Somebody is lying,” said Fox News legal analyst Sol Wisenberg last night, stating the obvious. “Either Merrick Garland has lied under oath to the Congress, or David Weiss lied to the IRS agents.”

Seems simple enough. Garland is the nation’s attorney general, and Weiss is the Delaware-based federal prosecutor who years ago was tasked with investigating Hunter Biden. And it seems to be a discrepancy that’s easy enough to sort out, no? Just haul them both before Congress once again and ask them some pointed and specific questions. And then begin impeachment proceedings against the guy whose story doesn’t add up. How hard could it be?

Wisenberg, talking to Laura Ingraham, continued: “Merrick Garland has testified that David Weiss, the U.S. attorney in Delaware investigating Biden, had complete authority, more authority than even a special counsel did to do anything he wanted.”

Indeed, as the New York Post reports, “The attorney general said Friday that Weiss was allowed ‘to continue his investigation and to make a decision to prosecute any way in which he wanted to and in any district in which he wanted to.’”

And yet, as the Post also notes, Weiss “told at least six witnesses last year that he lacked authority to charge the first son outside Delaware and was denied special counsel status.” That’s according to an intrepid whistleblower and IRS supervisory special agent named Gary Shapley.

Of course, we know that Joe Biden has been lying about all this since 2019, when he snapped at Fox News’s Peter Doocy during an Iowa campaign event, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings!”

Biden has since doubled down on that lie multiple times, even though we have him on a 2018 voicemail to his son, in which he wants to discuss with his son a potentially explosive New York Times article about Hunter’s corrupt dealings with an equally corrupt Chinese oil tycoon. As Biden said in that voicemail message: “I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance, give me a call. I love you.”

We know, from former Biden business associate Rob Walker’s eyewitness testimony, that Joe Biden, both during his vice presidency and after it, was sitting in on his son’s business dealings multiple times.

And we know that during his final 2020 debate with Donald Trump, Joe Biden rattled off a remark prepared for him by then-senior campaign adviser Antony Blinken and others for just the occasion when Donald Trump challenged him about all this. “Look,” Biden lied to a national television audience, “there are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what [President Trump is] accusing me of is a Russian plan. They have said that this has all the characteristics — four — five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage!”

Yep, to Joe Biden, the cold hard truth is “a bunch of garbage.”

And now, due to the courageous whistleblower testimony of Gary Shapley, a supervisory special agent with the IRS, we have a smoking-gun WhatsApp text message dated July 30, 2017, from Hunter Biden to a Chinese “business” associate, Henry Zhao, which further incriminates his dad:

I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.

Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction.

I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.

In short, we know that Joe Biden is a liar and a cheat. And no, we don’t mean he lies about his wealth and cheats about his golf game. We mean he lies and cheats about the most important, most consequential things in life. Like how his first wife and his daughter died. Like how his son Beau died. Like whether he ever talked to his son Hunter about his overseas business dealings, and whether the deeply damaging information on his son’s laptop computer is exactly what it appears to be.

Further, we know that the FBI was lying because we know it knew Hunter Biden’s laptop was Hunter Biden’s laptop nearly a year before the 2020 presidential election, nearly a year before it conspired with Big Tech to suppress the New York Post’s October Surprise bombshell — a story that we also know, according to post-election polling, would’ve changed the outcome of the election.

Yes, we know all this, but the mainstream media doesn’t seem to care. As Jordan Boyd writes at The Federalist, “There is more evidence that the man leading our nation sold out his country to enrich his family than there ever was in the FBI’s Russian collusion witch hunt; the corrupt corporate media simply doesn’t care enough to hold the current president accountable.”

But, hey, go ahead and trust Joe Biden. After all, you have his word as a Biden.
