Late Thursday, Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows issued an order removing Donald Trump from the ballot, citing the “insurrection clause” of the 14^th Amendment.
 
Her decision, like the Colorado Supreme Court decision, is a direct attack on your God-given rights as an American.
 
There was no insurrection on January 6^th. But even accepting that point for the sake of argument, the federal laws enforcing the “insurrection” clause are clear that in order to apply to an individual they must be charged and convicted for insurrection.
 
To this date, no one has been charged with insurrection, much less convicted of insurrection.
 
Moreover, this “insurrection” nonsense is not nearly as clear-cut as some pundits would make it seem. The Michigan Supreme Court rejected the insurrection argument. And California’s liberal secretary of state is also allowing Trump to appear on the ballot.
 
Let’s be absolutely clear here: The neo-Marxists removing Trump from the ballot are rigging the elections.  They are trying to cancel the presidential election in their states. That’s what they are doing. They are eliminating democracy as they claim to be protecting it.
 
So, my friends, we’re getting down to brass tacks here. We must resist while we still can.
  
 
 
My Prayer For 2024
 
We’re getting ready to say goodbye to 2023.  Honestly, I won’t miss it. 
 
From continued sky-high inflation to record illegal immigration, from the ongoing war in Ukraine to the war in Israel and the explosion of anti-Semitism in America, it’s been a challenging year.
 
If we could ask for just one thing in the New Year, I believe it should be that America would turn back to the God of the Bible. 
 
America is facing multiple challenges, many of which can be traced to the decline of our Judeo-Christian values. 
 
We have an epidemic of broken families and children without fathers in the home.  There is an epidemic of corruption on Wall Street, in government and even at your local school board. 
 
There are epidemics of despair, depression and drug addiction.  There is an epidemic of gender confusion. 
 
There is an epidemic of violent crime.  A growing number of people don’t fear punishment in this life and don’t believe in eternal life. 
 
We need a revival here in America.
 
Our nation was founded by people who came here to freely worship God.  Christian pastors gave birth to the revolutionary fervor that won our war of independence. 
 
George Washington said it was only because of God’s hand that we prevailed over the British empire.  And our founders boldly declared that our liberty comes from God, not government. 
 
My prayer for 2024 is that America will rediscover the wisdom and truth of the Bible and turn our hearts back to the God.
 
And I promise that throughout the year ahead, with your prayers, continued support and God’s blessing, I will continue to “fight the good fight” for Faith, Family and Freedom!
