Joe Biden is once again exploiting January 6th. He’s going to historic Valley Forge today, attempting to claim the mantle of George Washington, to give a speech warning about the so-called “dangers to our democracy” represented by Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
 
What a dishonest and craven thing to do. If only George Washington could come down from Heaven and give a speech at the White House! I believe he would warn us that Joe Biden and the neo-Marxist left is the greatest threat to the country.
 
George Washington believed that only a virtuous people could remain free. Joe Biden brought transgender activists and drag queens to the White House to celebrate LGBTQ pride.
 
George Washington routinely thanked God. He and all the founders believed that our victory over the British empire in the Revolutionary War was only possible because of God’s blessing.
 
Joe Biden, his FBI and the entire Democrat establishment call that belief “Christian nationalism,” and they claim it is a threat to the country. Meanwhile, Biden regularly disses God. He didn’t even bother to mention God or Jesus in his Thanksgiving and Christmas messages.
 
George Washington knew free and fair elections were the key to democracy. Biden and his leftist allies are trying to jail his leading political opponent and cancel our elections.
 
George Washington believed the Constitution was the supreme law of the land. Joe Biden is at war with the First Amendment, the Second Amendment and every other right we have.
 
The memories of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Patrick Henry and other founders are being forgotten because they are no longer taught in school. And if they are, their reputations are being smeared and tarnished, while left-wing activists tear down their statues and defile their monuments.
 
That’s why Donald Trump set up the 1776 Commission to ensure that the next generation would respect them as we do. Joe Biden, who is attempting to claim Washington’s mantle, immediately abolished the 1776 Commission when he took office.
 
For generations, the most famous childhood story about George Washington was telling his father that he could not tell a lie. Joe Biden, well known for his past plagiarism, lies all the time about virtually everything.
 
In every way, Joe Biden is the exact opposite of George Washington. He should be ashamed of disgracing Valley Forge with his lies.

The Left’s War On Faith
 
The Biden Administration is training an army of left-wing social workers to wage war on Faith, Family and Freedom. That may sound extreme, but bear with me.
 
There is a federal home visitation program run by an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services. This program produces training guidelines and provides hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for home visits by state and local social workers.
 
The guidelines produced by this agency were clearly written by left-wing ideologues and obviously meant to push the radical transgender agenda into as many American homes as possible.
 
Social workers are being instructed to look out for parents who don’t allow their children to explore “gender expression.” Mere parental resistance to this insanity, or an insistence on normal gender roles, could be considered abuse and a reason to remove children from the home.
 
The guidelines state that home visitors must “recognize and address the abuse and neglect that may result, either directly or indirectly, from rejection of a child’s gender expression.”
 
Moreover, the “abuse” doesn’t have to be “overt” physical abuse. It could also be “denying a child the right to play, dress, and act as they would like.”
 
In other words, if you discourage your six year-old son from wearing his sister’s dresses and painting his fingernails pink, you’re a bad parent who is abusing your son.
 
As one conservative leader rightly warned, “We are rapidly headed down a road where every parent in this country who opposes the transgender agenda risks losing custody of their kids. The grave threat to families posed by this administration cannot be ignored.”
 
We’ve already seen how some so-called “progressive” states are banning Christian couples from serving as adoptive or foster parents. Many leftist lawmakers are all in on charging parents with “abuse” if they don’t affirm their child’s gender confusion.
 
Once again, the culture war is very real. But because so many politicians who have asked for our votes later refused to fight this war, it is now coming to our homes and threatening our families.
 
We must fight back and rein in these rogue bureaucracies, while we still can.
 
 
 
2024 Update
 
The latest Economist/YouGov poll finds Joe Biden and Donald Trump tied at 44%. Assuming the poll is accurate, a tie would most likely translate into a comfortable electoral college victory for the GOP candidate because the Democrat vote is concentrated in a few states. So, while I would prefer a wider margin, 44% to 44% isn’t necessarily bad news.
 
What about the other candidates? Joe Biden led Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis by three points — 44% to 41%. And what about Nikki Haley?
 
Well, a few weeks ago, one poll got a lot of attention for suggesting that she would beat Biden by double digits. That poll was insane. Everyone knew it was a ludicrous effort by the money wing of the GOP establishment to boost Haley.
 
This new Economist poll finds Haley losing to Biden by five points. The explanation is simple.
 
Trump and DeSantis are populist conservatives who appeal to working-class voters, and they’re unafraid of fighting the culture war. Haley is an old-guard, establishment Republican. There’s little evidence she can attract blue-collar, working-class voters or inspire the values base of the GOP to turn out in droves.
 
War hero John McCain was supposedly the best choice to hold the White House in 2008. Mitt Romney, a squeaky clean moderate, was supposedly the best choice to win in 2012. They both got clobbered by Barack Hussein Obama because neither was willing to fight on populist or values issues.
 
 
 
Biden Abortion Mandate Blocked
 
After the Supreme Court cleared the way with the Dobbs decision for states to protect innocent pre-born babies from abortion, the Biden Administration began scheming to circumvent pro-life state laws.
 
Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued regulations essentially turning hospital emergency rooms into abortion centers. The state of Texas sued in defense of its pro-life laws.
 
I am pleased to report that a unanimous three-judge panel of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued an order this week blocking Biden’s latest abortion mandate, finding that HHS exceeded its authority.
 
All three judges were Republican appointees, demonstrating yet again that the outcome of so many legal disputes largely depends on who appoints the judges.
 
 
 
Epstein List Released
 
Court documents disclosing scores of individuals named in a lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein were released Wednesday. We’ll delve into it a bit more, but so far this looks like a big yawn, with almost nothing new.
 
Yes, the documents make Bill Clinton look like a sexual predator, but we already knew that.
