The Biden White House continues to send mixed messages about its support for our ally Israel as it fights the Islamic supremacists of Hamas. Joe Biden has made it clear that he does not want Israel to crush the last Hamas stronghold in Rafah. He is even blocking weapons shipments to Israel as it moves to finish the job.
 
National Security spokesman John Kirby was asked whether the Biden administration supported Israel’s efforts to destroy Hamas. In one breath, Kirby affirmed Israel’s right to defend itself, but then added, “I’ve said many times here, you’re not going to eliminate an ideology through military operations.”
 
That’s an odd statement from a retired admiral. More importantly, it completely misses the point.
 
When we sent three million men to Europe to fight Nazi Germany, we didn’t succeed in wiping out Nazism. There are still Nazis today. Sadly, many of Hitler’s ideological heirs are in Hamas and on our college campuses.
 
But we did crush Nazism’s ability to wage war. We denied Nazism territory from which it could threaten other nations.
 
When we engaged ISIS in Iraq and Syria, we didn’t end radical Islam. But we did deny them a “caliphate” from which they could expand and threaten more lives in the Middle East.
 
By wiping out Hamas, Israel is not trying to end the ideology of radical Islam. It is trying to deny the terrorists of Hamas the ability to use Gaza as a launching pad for more attacks against innocent Israelis. Israel has the right and the responsibility to do just that.
 
 
 
Liberating GWU
 
Radical protesters on the campus of George Washington University, just a few blocks from the White House, imitated their communist role models by holding a Stalinist show trial.
 
After a “People’s Tribunal” convicted multiple members of the university’s administration, the mob erupted in chants of “Guillotine! Guillotine! Guillotine!” Later, they marched on President Ellen Granberg’s home. What a “peaceful” and “tolerant” bunch.
 
But in spite of repeated requests from George Washington University officials, Mayor Muriel Bowser refused to allow police to clear the encampment.
 
Well, Mayor Bowser was scheduled to appear before Congress yesterday to explain why she wouldn’t clear the neo-Nazi, pro-Hamas thugs off the campus. Lo and behold, she evidently had an epiphany. I don’t know if she “saw the light,” but she certainly “felt the heat.”
 
Around 3:00 AM, Washington, D.C., police moved in. After meeting resistance, they were forced to deploy pepper spray and make at least 30 arrests during the liberation of the George Washington University campus.
 
 
 
Biden Cheapens Honor
 
President Joe Biden recently awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to more than a dozen people. But just as he has cheapened our currency with inflation and cheapened our credibility with constant retreats around the world, he has now cheapened the honor of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
 
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the nation’s highest civilian award. It’s given to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the “prosperity, values, or security of the United States.”
 
So, who were some of Biden’s “winners”? One was former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Really?!
 
Pelosi has devoted her life to the destruction of innocent preborn children. She is a pro-abortion fanatic, just like Joe Biden. There isn’t one abortion she would prevent.
 
She infamously stood behind President Trump and ripped up his State of the Union address. That was her contribution to freedom and unity in America.
 
Father Greg Boyle was another medal recipient. Some might be happy that a religious leader was recognized. Did he advance Catholic values like the sanctity of life and the family? No.
 
Boyle is part of the religious left. He endorsed Biden in 2020, and he’s at war with the church’s teachings on LGBTQ issues. So, of course, Biden gave him an award.
 
Another honoree was former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who, like Joe Biden, is at war with our Second Amendment rights.
 
And then there are the two “great statesmen” — Al Gore and John Kerry. They were recognized for their devotion to fighting climate change. Just like Joe Biden, they want to impose regulations that will destroy our modern economy and prevent poor nations from ever making it into the modern world.
 
I remember the explosion of controversy when President Trump awarded the Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh. At least Rush devoted his life to supporting veterans and law enforcement, as well as defending America and Judeo-Christian civilization for three hours a day for decades.
 
 
 
Trump’s Trials
 
I am not going to lower the standards of this report or offend your sensibilities by describing in detail what the Biden-loving judge and prosecutors allowed in the courtroom Tuesday during the Manhattan trial of Donald Trump.
 
This trial is built around an event that allegedly happened 18 years ago! But there is no low too low for this gang. No amount of persecution of Donald Trump is sufficient for these haters. There is no smear they won’t use because nothing is beneath them.
 
This is the party that stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Bill Clinton when he had an intern on her knees in the Oval Office. “It’s no one’s business,” they said. “It’s his private life,” they insisted. “Just move on,” they demanded.
 
Meanwhile, over at CNN they were cackling away at the salacious charges made in court. This is the same network that employs pervert Jeffrey Toobin. This is the same network where a producer was arrested and convicted on charges of child sex abuse.
 
But nothing that is happening today has anything to do with what happened 18 years ago or a non-disclosure agreement made by a former Trump attorney that some now claim was a campaign expenditure.
 
This is all about the left doing whatever they have to do to prevent us from having someone who will defend us back in the Oval Office. This is all about stopping a man determined to stop the left from turning America into a neo-Marxist cesspool.
 
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: Pray for Donald Trump and the safety of his family. If all else fails, they are likely to try to kill him.
 
But there is some good legal news for the former president.
 
Tuesday, the Florida judge handling the classified documents case indefinitely suspended the trial due to allegations of evidence tampering by Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team.
 
And yesterday, a Georgia court agreed to hear an appeal from Trump’s attorneys seeking to get the ethically challenged Fani Willis removed from the case.
 
 
 
Trump Responds
 
Former President Donald Trump responded yesterday morning to the unprecedented legal persecution that he is being subjected to. Here is an excerpt of his statement:
 
“It is a really bad feeling to have your Constitutional Right to Free Speech … so unfairly taken from you… This Fascist mindset is all coming from D.C. It is a sophisticated hit job on Crooked Joe Biden’s Political Opponent, ME! …
 
"What these THUGS are doing is AN ATTACK ON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, AND OUR ONCE GREAT NATION ITSELF. OUR FIRST AMENDMENT MUST STAND, FREE AND STRONG. ‘GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH!’”
