This White House delivers amazing surprises with regularity. Forty-eight hours after the extraordinary attack on Iran’s nuclear weapons program, President Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
 
It is admittedly an uneasy ceasefire. I am praying it holds. I’m also praying that Iran’s radical regime has learned its lesson. Only time will tell.
 
It was amusing to see Vice President J.D. Vance on Fox News Monday night, discussing recent events. While he was on the air, Trump announced the ceasefire, and Vance had to react on the spot. He handled it incredibly well and articulated the rationale with ease.
 
Once again, Donald Trump has cemented his place in history by doing what previous presidents promised but failed to do.
 
 
 
Trump Responds
 
As often happens historically in ceasefires, the opening hours and even days can be fraught with difficulty. Disgruntled soldiers and generals, who want to keep fighting or who may not have received new orders, deliberately or accidentally violate the ceasefire.
 
After the ceasefire went into effect, Iran launched two waves of missiles at Israel. President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed the situation. Israel restrained itself to a symbolic strike on one Iranian radar installation and “refrained from additional attacks.”
 
Speaking to reporters yesterday morning on the White House lawn, President Trump expressed his anger that left-wing media outlets were downplaying the success of the incredible Iranian mission and not giving the B-2 pilots and other military personnel the credit they deserve.
 
Many of the same people criticizing this unbelievably successful operation made excuses for Joe Biden’s disastrous retreat from Afghanistan. Trump blasted CNN as “scum” and specifically called out Brian Roberts, the owner of “MSDNC.”
 
 
 
Suspects Arrested
 
Amid warnings about Sleepy Joe’s sleeper cells, federal law enforcement officials over the weekend arrested 11 Iranians who are in the U.S. illegally. The arrests took place in eight states across the country – Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Mississippi, New York, and Texas. Among those arrested were: 

• An Iranian Army sniper who still had his Islamic Republic of Iran Army identification card.  

• A former member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) with known connections to Hezbollah. 

 
Five more illegal aliens from Iran were arrested today.
 
 
 
A Big Win
 
The Supreme Court just gave the White House and the American people a big win. In a 6 to 3 decision, the justices overturned an order by a federal district court judge blocking the administration from deporting illegal aliens to countries other than their native country.
 
Often the home countries of criminal illegal aliens refuse to take these violent thugs back. As a result, the administration is sending them to countries that will take them.
 
To be clear, this is a temporary win. The Supreme Court is allowing the administration to continue these deportations while the merits of the case are argued in the lower federal courts.
 
This ruling does not mean the issue is settled. But legal experts say the ruling is a good indication that the issue will ultimately be resolved in the administration’s favor. Otherwise, a majority of justices wouldn’t have overturned the lower court’s injunction.
 
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) praised the decisions, saying, “The Supreme Court ruling is a victory for the safety and security of the American people…  DHS can now execute its lawful authority and remove illegal aliens to a country willing to accept them. Fire up the deportation planes.”
 
However, the Biden-appointed judge in Boston who imposed the initial injunction declared that the Supreme Court’s decision has no effect on him. Incredibly, he is citing the minority opinion of the court’s liberals as his justification for claiming that the original defendants are somehow still protected by his order.
 
The result is that eight violent criminal illegal aliens who were ordered to be deported to South Sudan have been stranded at a military base in Djibouti for weeks.
 
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller blasted the Boston judge, saying, “Expect fireworks … when we hold this judge accountable for refusing to obey the Supreme Court.” 
 

 

 


Hidden Victims
 
As the Trump administration steps up enforcement of our immigration laws, many on the Left and even some well-meaning conservatives, are questioning why “hard-working, non-violent” illegal aliens are being arrested at work sites.
 
One reason is that crossing the border illegally is not a “victimless crime.” If illegal aliens are working at a job, they are taking a job from an American citizen, and they have likely stolen another American’s identity.
 
Federal immigration police recently carried out an enforcement operation at a Nebraska meatpacking plant. At least 70 illegal aliens were detained. The media gave us sob stories about the “chilling effect” on the community and how the survival of the business was threatened by losing so many employees.
 
The business will bounce back. In a moment of unintended honesty, NBC News reported this:
 
“Every seat in the waiting area of Glenn Valley Foods was occupied with people filling out job applications early Thursday afternoon, two days after the meatpacking plant became the center of the largest worksite immigration raid in the state.”
 
While the arrest of 70 illegal aliens made headlines, the 100 American victims who had their identities stolen were largely ignored. Here’s how American citizens were hurt because some illegal aliens were “working.” 

• A resident of Pennsylvania was denied medically necessary prescriptions because an illegal alien working at the Nebraska meatpacking plant stole his name and Social Security number. 

• A Texas resident, who was disabled and could not work, had difficulty obtaining Social Security disability payments because an illegal alien stole their identity to work at the meatpacking plant. 

• A Colorado resident was harassed by the IRS for tax evasion and was told to pay more than $5,000. Why? Because an illegal alien stole their identity to work at the meatpacking plant, which inflated the Colorado resident’s reported income. 

• A Missouri nursing student lost her college scholarship because an illegal alien working at the meatpacking plant stole her Social Security number, which made it look like the student earned too much money to qualify. The same illegal alien also had multiple unpaid traffic fines, which prevented the student from renewing her driver’s license. 

• A California resident has spent 15 years trying to fix the financial damage caused by an illegal alien who was working at the meatpacking plant.

 
Mark Zito, a special agent at the Department of Homeland Security, condemned the media narrative surrounding the enforcement operation at the Nebraska meatpacking plant, saying:
 
“There have been individuals who have gone on the record recently referring to the identity thieves we arrested last week as ‘good, hardworking, and honest.’ These so-called ‘honest workers’ have caused an immeasurable amount of financial and emotional hardship for innocent Americans.
 
"If pretending to be someone you aren’t in order to steal their lives isn’t blatant, criminal dishonesty, I don’t know what is. The criminals who stole these identities didn’t just break the law, they upended lives. These victims aren’t faceless statistics; they’re real people who are being denied healthcare and have lost educational opportunities.”
 
 
 
Americans Last
 
Joe Biden and his party put America last by opening our borders and allowing millions of people to walk into our country, including many criminal illegal aliens. Biden is gone, and President Trump has secured the southern border. But leftists are still putting Americans last.
 
Federal immigration police in Denver recently attempted to arrest Jose Reyes Leon-Deras, an illegal alien from El Salvador. Unfortunately, they failed because left-wing activists alerted Leon-Deras that immigration police were in the area, and he managed to escape.
 
Leon-Deras isn’t just some random guy working at a restaurant or picking vegetables to support his family in El Salvador. He is a convicted child rapist!
 
The Left is protecting the worst of the worst, and that is putting Americans last.
 
Polling shows that 83% of Americans support President Trump’s efforts to detain and deport criminal illegal aliens, and 52% oppose left-wing activists attempting to prevent immigration police from doing their jobs. Only 24% believe it should be legal to obstruct immigration police, while another 24% aren’t sure.
 
Remember this the next time you hear about riots in Los Angeles, Portland, or Seattle against Trump’s immigration policies. The policies aren’t the problem. It’s the fringe Left that has a problem with the rule of law.
