There’s a lot of information and commentary in the media and online regarding the current investigations of the Russia collusion hoax. There’s also a lot of obfuscation.
 
I want to reiterate the central point that is being argued here: Barack Obama and the heads of various intelligence agencies that answered to him had irrefutable evidence that there was no attempt by Russia to help Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Nor did Russia succeed in impacting the results of the election.
 
But instead of reporting what their own agencies had told them, Obama and his underlings made up a fake intelligence report of Russian collusion. Then they leaked the fake information to the media in a sinister effort to paralyze and destroy the incoming administration that the American people voted for.
 
That is the core issue currently being investigated. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard believes the information she has turned over and declassified is absolutely clear that intelligence was manufactured and manipulated to push a false narrative.
 
The second key point is that the White House is not setting up a committee. Attorney General Pam Bondi is not appointing a special prosecutor. Not yet, at least.
 
Instead, they established a Justice Department strike force, which is a specialized unit used to investigate and combat complicated organized crime conspiracies. Here is the Justice Department’s description of a strike force:
 
“The Strike Force Model consists of interagency teams made up of investigators and prosecutors that focus on the worst offenders engaged in fraudulent activities … false statement offenses, Title 42 offenses, Title 26 offenses, and Title 21 offenses…”
 
This is how the Justice Department goes after the mob. That tells you this is a serious undertaking by the Trump administration to get to the bottom of this Deep State scandal and hold the people responsible accountable under the laws of the United States of America.
 
 
 
Deep State Double Standard
 
When President Trump and officials working for him declassify information to help the American people understand what’s going on, the Deep State often hits back by accusing them of exposing secret information and putting people’s lives in danger.
 
Now with the Epstein files, Democrats are demanding that it all be turned over and made public without any care at all over whose lives may be destroyed. The double standard is so transparent.
 
But potentially hurting innocent people really is a serious concern with the Epstein files.
 
Alan Dershowitz, Epstein’s former lawyer, probably knows more about the Epstein files than anyone else, except perhaps Ghislaine Maxwell, who is now talking to the Justice Department. He warned in a recent interview that there are false accusations in the Epstein files, and he named names. Dershowitz said:
 
“What I’m worried about is that when these files come out, they will include only the false accusations, but not the information that would show that these accusations are false. Because these judges are, quote, protecting the victims.
 
"Maria Farmer and Sarah Ransome, they’re not victims. They’re perpetrators. They’re criminals. They’re perjurers. They’re people who belong in prison. So, we have to separate out the truthful from the untruthful. And you don’t get that by lists of accusers or anything like that.”
 
 
 
Second-Class Christians
 
When Oregon mother Jessica Bates decided to adopt two foster children, she got a shocking response from the Oregon Department of Human Services. Bates was told she could not adopt children because she was a Christian with normal biblical beliefs about sexuality and gender.
 
The denial letter from the Department of Human Services specifically cited her belief that “God gives us our gender/sex, and it’s not something we get to choose” for rejecting her adoption application.
 
In order to adopt children, Oregon requires adoptive parents to “respect, accept, and support the … sexual orientation, gender identity, [and] gender expression” of children.
 
Bates was told she must use a child’s “preferred pronouns,” forcing her to lie about biological reality. She was ordered to make her home a “hate-free zone” by displaying rainbow flags, Pride flags, pink triangles, and other LGBTQ-affirming symbols, “whether or not a youth in your care openly identifies as LGBTQ+.”
 
Bates was told to avoid attending religious activities that were “unsupportive of people with diverse [sexual orientation and gender identity expression].”
 
This is what happens when the Left gets power. In the name of tolerance, intolerant leftists tell you what you can and cannot believe, what you can and cannot say, and what you can and cannot do. Oregon “progressives” are treating Christians like second-class citizens.
 
Thankfully, our friends at Alliance Defending Freedom took up Bates’s case and sued the state of Oregon. After losing an initial request for an injunction against the state’s outrageous demands, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals stepped in.
 
In a decision written by a Trump appointee, the appeals court judges determined that Oregon’s adoption law was not “neutral toward religion” and, thus, was held to a “strict scrutiny” test—the highest legal standard applied in U.S. law when it comes to possible violations of fundamental rights.
 
Bates’s religious liberty rights were clearly violated by the state of Oregon, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals granted her request for an injunction. She can now proceed with the adoption process while her legal challenge against Oregon’s bigoted, anti-Christian adoption policies continues—a case she will very likely win.
 
 
 
More Biden Horrors
 
Joe Biden’s open borders inflicted many horrors on the American people. Massive amounts of deadly drugs crossed the border. Violent gangs crossed the border. Criminal illegal aliens crossed the border. 
 
But the Biden administration also “lost” hundreds of thousands of migrant children who came into our country. Many ended up doing forced labor in dangerous jobs, while others were handed over to sex traffickers. Protecting these children was not a priority for the Biden administration.
 
The House Homeland Security Committee recently held a hearing on Biden’s “lost” children. It turns out that Biden’s bureaucrats only made two welfare check calls. If no one answered after the second call, they dropped the case and gave up.
 
In addition to that pathetic outreach, they set up a special 800 number for people to report potential abuse of migrant children. From August of 2023 to January 2025, 65,000 calls poured into that 800 number. One call came from a boy who said men were sexually abusing him at night.
 
But none of those calls were investigated. Not one. Zero!
 
The Left’s willingness to throw children to wolves while preening about “compassion” is sickening. It’s a national scandal—as is the media’s refusal to cover it!
 
Thankfully, the Trump administration is working aggressively to find and save these children. I am pleased to report that the boy mentioned above was rescued and his “sponsor” has been arrested.
 
 
 
Trump v. Powell
 
President Trump, who knows about building construction, visited the renovation project at the Federal Reserve Thursday. This project has been going on for years. The same people running California’s high-speed rail project must be running the Fed’s renovation project, too.
 
Trump stood next to Federal Reserve Chairman Jay Powell and criticized the unacceptable waste of taxpayer resources, noting that $3.1 billion had been spent so far.
 
Powell tried to argue with Trump about the figure, saying it included another building that had been completed. Trump pointed out that the other building was part of the entire project.
 
Later, at a press conference, every reporter took the position that Powell’s numbers were right, and the president was wrong. Trump literally had the numbers the Federal Reserve itself provided in required reporting. The president’s numbers are 100% correct.
 
This shows you what we are up against day after day. We know from the Russia collusion hoax that truth and facts don’t matter to the fake news media. We used to be able to count on the media to expose waste. Not anymore. They’re only interested in attacking Trump.
 
But whose self-interest is at stake in this renovation project? It’s not Trump’s. It’s Powell’s, who has an obvious interest in trying to minimize just how bad it really is.
