Every time we turn around, there’s another left-wing demonstration. This past weekend it was the No Kings protests, and people always have the same questions:
 
“Do these people have jobs? Where do they get their money? Why do all their signs look professionally made? Who is behind this?”
 
Well, we may get some answers soon.
 
After President Trump designated the far-left revolutionary group Antifa as a terrorist organization, FBI Director Kash Patel set up a new division to investigate how Antifa and other leftist revolutionary groups are funded. The FBI is tracking the money just like it tracked money from organized crime.
 
In addition to the usual suspects—domestic leftist billionaires like George Soros—Patel said there are indications that America’s foreign enemies are also providing support for radical anti-American groups. Some of these groups are fomenting violence against our immigration police.
 
These extremist groups get their funding from a vast network of far-left tax-exempt “charities.” These “charities” are funded by left-wing organizations such as Arabella Advisors, the Open Society Foundation, and the Sixteen Thirty Fund that act like clearinghouses for radical left money. Those groups get their money from left-wing billionaires, including George Soros.
 
As the prime suspect for funding left-wing violence, Soros is now in the bull’s eye of Justice Department lawyers, Treasury Department experts, and IRS investigators.
 
President Trump’s decisive action against the radical Left has already produced results.
 
Microsoft founder Bill Gates has stopped giving to Arabella Advisors, and British billionaire Christopher Hohn has stopped supporting extreme environmental groups that are trying to cripple our energy industry and our economy.
 
Of all the things the Trump administration is tackling right now, this work is definitely among the most important priorities. These violent left-wing groups are the real threat to democracy in America. They want to shred our Constitution and “fundamentally transform” our Republic into a Marxist state.
 
 
 
Wikipedia Censors Scripture
 
Wikipedia claims to be a “free online encyclopedia that anyone can edit” and is open to all. Except it isn’t when it comes to conservative Christians.

Several months ago, a Wikipedia editor included a Bible verse about human sexuality in his profile on a separate Wikipedia chat group, not its “encyclopedia” pages. He was immediately harassed by LGBTQ members of the chat group.
 
When the editor issued a formal complaint over the harassment, he was informed that the Bible verse violated Wikipedia’s code of conduct, but not the harassment by the intolerant leftists.
 
But it didn’t end there. Wikipedia began deleting the editor’s pages and essays that advocated for the free speech rights of those who oppose the LGBTQ agenda. It wasn’t long after that the editor himself was banned from Wikipedia entirely.
 
Once again, we see the Left’s intolerance and hostility to free speech and religious liberty. Other examples include pastors and politicians in Europe who have been prosecuted for publicly speaking about normal human sexuality. And it’s happening here, too.
 
By the way, Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger has warned for years that the site has been hijacked by left-wing activists and can’t be trusted. He is absolutely right. One radical Wikipedia editor even attempted to delete information about the Muslim grooming gangs in England that were targeting young British women.
 
 
 
“Failing Up”
 
Stacy Davis Gates is the president of the Chicago Teachers Union. She is a far-left radical who has praised a Marxist cop killer, condemned standardized tests as “junk science rooted in white supremacy,” denounced private schools as “fascist,” and utterly failed in her job of improving education in Chicago.
 
Under Gates’s leadership, more than 50 Chicago schools had no students—ZERO—who were proficient in math and reading. Across the entire Windy City, just 31% of students in third through eighth grade are proficient in reading, only 18% are proficient in math, and 41% of students are chronically absent. (Even Gates herself sends her son to a private school!)
 
With a performance record like that, Gates should be fired. But she’s getting a promotion instead. She was just elected the new president of the entire state’s Federation of Teachers.
 
As the Wall Street Journal put it, Gates is “failing up” and will now be taking her failures statewide.
 
During the Reagan administration, Bill Bennett and I went to Chicago to speak with the public school establishment. At one point, Bennett said, “Chicago has the worst public schools in the country.” Someone in the audience shouted, “No, we don’t! That’s Detroit.” Wow. That was a really compelling defense of the Chicago school system. NOT! Evidently, not much has changed.
 
 
 
Another Fake Controversy
 
Democrats and their media allies are running around with their hair on fire over President Trump’s renovations to the White House. He is adding a new ballroom to the East Wing, and taxpayers aren’t paying a dime. It is being entirely paid for by private donations.
 
Here’s one of the earliest pictures of the White House and a picture of the White House complex today. 
 

If we applied the Left’s standard they’re claiming today—that it can’t ever be changed—it would still look like it did well over 100 years ago.

But the White House has undergone numerous renovations. The East Wing itself was built in 1902. It underwent a major renovation in 1942. Harry Truman totally gutted the White House and remodeled it. America is not the White House in any particular year. The White House is the home of the president, and the president changes it.
 
The faux outrage over Trump’s rebuilding the East Wing is just another attempt to make everything the most successful president in modern history does look “radical” and “not normal.”
 
The people screaming about this haven’t suddenly discovered a deep love for classical architecture. Trump has said he doesn’t want any more ugly, modern buildings in Washington, D.C., and they’re mad at him about that.
 
And when actual barbarians defaced and sometimes pulled down historic monuments honoring American heroes, Democrats and leftist commentators either supported them or dismissed it as “free speech.”
 
And they were so happy when LGBTQ flags were flying all over the White House and sick men were dancing around on the White House lawn showing off their new fake breasts. (Some of those people were accused of sexually assaulting teenagers. Whoops!)
 
That was actual desecration of the house Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan lived in and governed in. Those were the wrecking balls that left marks that can’t be erased. (I’m still worried about whether they got all the stains out of the Oval Office after Bill Clinton was done with the intern program.)
 
 
Not Our Problem
 
There is an ongoing disagreement among conservatives, and both sides have valid arguments. The disagreement is whether the GOP should pressure Republican Curtis Sliwa to drop out of the mayoral race in New York City because his candidacy is splitting the anti-Mamdani vote.
 
The Murdoch family has decided Sliwa should go, and what a coincidence—the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, and Fox News, all owned by Murdoch, say he needs to go. (How does that work? Does Rupert Murdoch send out a memo?)
 
Whatever one thinks about Sliwa, here’s who will be responsible if Mamdani wins. Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and other Democrat leaders have refused to take a position on Mamdani. So, if he wins, it won’t be on us. It will be on the Democrat leadership.
 
They should hold a press conference to say, “We cannot allow a neo-Marxist to become the leader of the party of FDR and JFK. Do not support this man who supports radical Islam.” If they did that, Cuomo might have a chance to win.
 
But regardless of whether they do this, I would tell my Republican friends that Mamdani isn’t our problem and it’s not up to us to help bail out the Democrat Party. They are cowards in the face of an individual who actually has authoritarian instincts. Marxism always ends in authoritarianism.
 
 
 
Divided We Fall
 
Sometimes you just have to scratch your head and wonder what insanity has infected the minds of our fellow citizens. A new poll of New York City Jewish voters was just released, and you might think that Cuomo would have a healthy lead. Here are the sad results: 

• Cuomo 42%
• Mamdani 38%
• Curtis Sliwa 13%

One liberal Jew supporting Mamdani said, “I’m not voting for the mayor of Jerusalem.” So, he’s saying if he were in Jerusalem, he wouldn’t vote for an antisemite, but he will vote for one in New York City. That doesn’t make any sense.
 
Several prominent rabbis are speaking out and urging members of their community to wake up. For example, Rabbi Elliot Cosgrove hasn’t taken a position in a mayoral race in 18 years. He is now.
 
 
 
Monsters Among Us
 
Virginia Democrats are still reeling from the violence-supporting text messages sent by their attorney general candidate, Delegate Jay Jones.
 
While serving in the state legislature, he sent text messages to another legislator expressing his desire for Republican Speaker of the House of Delegates Todd Gilbert to be assassinated. He also expressed the hope that Mrs. Gilbert would have to “hold her dying children in her arms.”
 
After saying Gilbert should get “two shots to the head” instead of Adolf Hitler, he wrote to his fellow delegate:
 
“Yes, I’ve told you this before. Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy. I mean do I think Todd and Jennifer are evil? And that they’re breeding little fascists? Yes.”
 
But here’s something that has been largely overlooked in this controversy. Speaker Gilbert and his wife, Jennifer, frequently brought their kids to the capitol building. Not only did Jones say he wanted the speaker’s young children to die, but he actually knew those children. He may have even interacted with them.
 
This wasn’t just an off-handed remark about hypothetical children. Jones knew these children, and he knew their parents. And yet, he still fantasized about their murders like a deranged psychopath.
 
Four weeks ago, Virginia Democrats were riding high. Their candidates for governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general all had comfortable leads. Abigail Spanberger was measuring the drapes in the governor’s mansion. Not anymore.
 
Republican Winsome Earle-Sears has closed the gap and is within the margin of error. The lieutenant governor’s race is tied. And the race for attorney general has flipped, with Jay Jones down by five.
