The U.S. economy grew 4.3% in the third quarter of the year, shattering the 3.2% prediction of most economists. A White House spokesman said:
 
“Today’s blockbuster, expectation-smashing GDP report is the latest proof that President Trump’s America First trade and economic agenda continues to turn the page on the Biden economic disaster… Americans can count on benefitting from a historic economic boom in 2026.”
 
 
 
Poll Position
 
In spite of the constant drumbeat that Republicans are in “meltdown,” that “Trump is toast,” and that the “GOP has no chance in November 2026,” a number of polls show cause for optimism. So, I wanted to give you a little Christmas present. You may have already seen it, but it’s worth rewrapping, and you can open it again.
 
CNN’s data guru Harry Enten was commentating on the recent Quinnipiac poll that found the approval rating of congressional Democrats was just 18%. Enten quipped, “Democrats, in the minds of the American public, are lower than the Dead Sea.”
 
Now, here’s my caveat on that figure: Among those who disapprove of congressional Democrats is a significant percentage that disapproves because congressional Democrats are not being left-wing crazy enough.
 
So, the poll is not necessarily saying that 80% of Americans disagree with Democrats being the party of illegal aliens, Venezuelan drug runners, and Somali fraudsters.
 
There is also the latest InsiderAdvantage poll, which was one of the more accurate polls in 2024. InsiderAdvantage finds Trump’s approval rating is 50% and his disapproval rating is 41%. If that’s accurate, you’d never know it from the way the fake news media are describing the current political landscape.
 
 
 
The Real Fraud
 
There has been a lot of focus lately on the outrageous amount of welfare fraud, food stamp fraud, and Medicaid fraud in Minnesota, Maine, and other areas of the country. That’s all bad. Corruption is part of a fallen world, but that kind of corruption can be stamped out with proper financial controls and law enforcement actions.
 
The real fraud, and a far more dangerous fraud, is what’s being taught in our classrooms.
 
There’s a video going viral of a young Somali girl in Minnesota saying that no one should be considered an illegal alien because America “is literally, like, stolen land.” She didn’t come up with that thought by herself. She was taught that America is “stolen land.”
 
We laugh at liberal Democrats when they start a meeting with a so-called “land acknowledgement,” like this one from the Democrat National Committee’s summer meeting in Minneapolis:
 
“The DNC acknowledges and honors the Dakota Oyate – the Dakota people – who are the original stewards of the lands and waters of Minneapolis. The Dakota cared for the lands, lakes and the Wakpa Tanka – the ‘Great River,’ the Mississippi River – for thousands of years before colonization.
 
"This land was not claimed, or traded – it’s a part of a history of broken treaties and promises. And, in many ways, we still live in a system built to suppress Indigenous peoples’ cultural and spiritual history.”
 
But let’s unpack all of this so we can understand the fundamental point that the young Somali girl was articulating. 

• America has a checkered history in our dealings with Native American tribes as the two civilizations clashed.
• The more advanced European civilization, superior in technology and numbers, prevailed and built a place called America.
• But because of that checkered history, any “tribe” anywhere in the world has a right to come here and take the land back.

 
You may have seen the “condensed” version of this on a bumper sticker: “No One Is Illegal On Stolen Land.”
 
That’s what the young Somali girl was saying, and it’s what many open borders advocates believe. They believe America is evil, built on genocide and slavery, and shouldn’t exist as the nation it is today.
 
Indoctrinating our children with this anti-Americanism is the stuff of national suicide!
 
If it wasn’t for America, that little girl would be living in the hellhole of Somalia. Yet her contempt for the country that gives her the right to say such outrageous things is breathtaking!
 
 
 
Selling Success
 
Over the next year, conservatives will have to work hard at reminding people of all the successes we are enjoying as a nation. Here are some points to keep in mind as you are speaking with friends and family members. 

• Inflation is falling. It peaked at 9.1% under Biden and is now 2.7% under Trump. 

• The border is secure. We were told for the last four years that securing the border and ending illegal immigration was virtually impossible. Donald Trump did it. 

• Gasoline prices peaked at $5.03 a gallon under Biden. The national average for a gallon of gas is now $2.79—down 45% under Donald Trump. 

• There is a massive investment bonanza of nearly $10 trillion coming into the United States that will boost the economy for years to come. 

• We are rebuilding the American military with the best recruiting numbers in 15 years. 

• The budget deficit this year is down $516 billion from last year. 

• We are finally conducting an actual war on drugs. Instead of drugs killing Americans, we are killing foreign drug smugglers.
