Democrats are holding funding for the Department of Homeland Security hostage in order to extract concessions from the Trump administration on immigration enforcement.
 
Democrats want federal immigration police to be easily identifiable by radical leftists, even though they know it will inevitably result in greater danger to those agents and their families. This isn’t the only thing they want.
 
Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer and House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries just released a list of dozens of demands that would destroy illegal immigration enforcement. They include: 

• Blocking federal immigration police from making any arrests without a judicial warrant—not even those illegal aliens who have already ignored a judge’s deportation order. (See next item.) 

• Prohibiting federal immigration police from operating near “sensitive locations,” including courts (where criminal aliens often are) and polling places. The fact that Democrats are so concerned about federal immigration police at polling places exposes the Left’s lie that illegal aliens are not voting in our elections. 

• Preventing federal immigration police from considering someone’s race, where they work, or what language they speak. In other words, immigration police can’t consider the main characteristics that are associated with the foreign nationals who have illegally entered our country. The Supreme Court has already struck down this restriction. 

• They don’t want federal immigration police conducting large-scale operations without the permission of state and local authorities, giving veto power over immigration enforcement to pro-sanctuary city and state Democrats. 

• The Left is also demanding that the president fire Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

 
When you look at their entire agenda, it is clear that Democrats are trying to cancel the results of the 2024 elections by making it impossible for Donald Trump to fulfill his number one promise—the enforcement of our immigration laws. Their demands, if accepted, would be a de facto mass amnesty.
 
It also means we’re likely to go into another government shutdown in less than two weeks, which will hurt the economy and our national security. The Left will benefit.
 
This pro-foreign national, anti-American citizen agenda has strong support among leftist Democrats. But it is not popular among Republicans and Independents. Whether Schumer and Jeffries realize it or not, Republicans have a tremendous opportunity to highlight this striking difference between the two parties. I am doing everything possible to make sure establishment-oriented Republicans in Congress don’t go wobbly.
 
This is a perfect example of what 2027 and 2028 will be like if conservatives don’t show up to vote in massive numbers this November.
 
 
 
Warrant Wars
 
Democrats and their media allies are saying over and over again, “The dictator Trump is violating our Constitution by only using administrative warrants.” They insist that warrants be issued by a judge instead. Here are the facts.
 
Judicial warrants have never been part of U.S. immigration law. All the way back in 1957, federal agents detained Rudolf Abel, a communist illegal alien, using an administrative warrant. Abel challenged his deportation on the basis that he wasn’t arrested under a judicial warrant.
 
In 1960, the Supreme Court ruled that in immigration matters, administrative warrants are the only reasonable and logical way to proceed. Otherwise, the entire judicial system would lock up if judicial warrants were required to deport each individual illegal alien.
 
By the way, that Supreme Court decision was written by Felix Frankfurter, the founder of the American Civil Liberties Union.
 
Federal immigration police use administrative warrants to expel illegal aliens from the country. The reason administrative warrants are justified is because it’s the only thing that works.
 
I suppose it’s possible that Schumer and Jeffries are ignoramuses and have no idea what the consequences of their demands are. But I think it’s much more likely that they do know. Agreeing to these demands would end any effort to deal with the tidal wave of illegal foreign nationals that entered our country during Biden’s open border years.
 
 
 
National Prayer Breakfast
 
It was vintage Trump at the 74th annual National Prayer Breakfast Thursday morning. The crowd loved it. He spontaneously covered 50 different issues, from military strength to the many failures of the Biden administration.
 
The president had two significant messages in his address. First, the president reminded us about all the things he has done that Christians have wanted done for decades. Second, and in its own way even more important, President Trump is using the 250th anniversary of America’s founding to do what our schools have failed to do.
 
And that is to remind our youth and everybody else that what makes America unique is our creed expressed in the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, that we are created equal and that our liberty does not come from government, but from the God of the Bible.
 
President Trump said this radical vision that our Founding Fathers declared 250 years ago changed history by becoming a beacon for people all over the world who want to escape tyranny.
 
The president also made a big announcement, which the Faith Advisory Board has been working on for months. The American people are invited to come to the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on May 17th to pray and rededicate our nation to God.
 
Our Founding Fathers dedicated the United States to God in 1776, and President Trump said we should rededicate the country to God on its 250th birthday.
 
Other presidents had these kinds of opportunities and didn’t take them. George W. Bush could have called on Americans to rededicate our country to God after 9/11. Instead, he told us to go shopping.
 
I believe God is using Donald Trump to remind us what made America unique and why our Founders referred to America as a “shining city on a hill.”
 
 
 
Trump Tackles Trans Ideology
 
During his remarks Thursday morning at the National Prayer Breakfast, President Trump proudly recounted what his administration has done to protect our children from transgender ideology. “Who ever thought we’d be talking about mutilating children?” Trump said.
 
It’s a sad example of what left-wing extremism has done to our country. They’re teaching medical students that “compassion” means sterilizing young children. They’re teaching future doctors that to be “progressive” means mutilating the bodies of young children.
 
Donald Trump has fought this left-wing lunacy in ways no other Republican president would have. He wanted to fight it! That’s why he asked me to bring up the issue of transgender ideology in a public forum.
 
Since taking office last year, Trump has signed an executive order recognizing only two sexes—male and female. He signed orders protecting girls’ sports and prohibiting schools from forcing radical gender theories on our kids.
 
His administration conducted a thorough review of the “science” behind gender-denying procedures, exposing just how weak it was. Trump cut off federal funding to hospitals that perform these gruesome procedures.
 
Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, the legal system and the medical establishment are finally “seeing the light.”
 
Last week, a detransitioner won the first medical malpractice lawsuit against her psychologist and doctor. This week, two major medical organizations—the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Medical Association—issued statements saying transgender surgeries should not be performed on individuals under the age of 19.
 
These are significant victories!
 
And while the battle is far from over, the tide is now turning in our favor thanks to President Trump.
 
 
 
Another Chinese Lab
 
Nearly two years ago, law enforcement authorities raided a rogue biolab in Reedley, California. The lab was run by a Chinese citizen, Jiabei “Jesse” Zhu, with close ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Multiple deadly viruses, including HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, COVID-19, and Ebola, were discovered in that lab.
 
Now, another biolab also owned by Zhu has just been discovered in Las Vegas, Nevada. A cleaning lady discovered the lab accidentally. She didn’t open anything but still fell “deathly ill” a few days later.
 
Zhu has been in jail since 2023, yet he made thousands of calls from jail, including 467 calls to the individual who managed the lab in Las Vegas. It’s not yet known what exactly was in the Las Vegas lab, but police sent over 1,000 samples to the FBI for testing.
 
Last summer, two Chinese researchers at the University of Michigan were arrested for attempting to smuggle a fungus that could become a “potential agroterrorism weapon” that causes mass crop damage. Five months later, three more Chinese researchers at the University of Michigan were arrested for smuggling “biological materials” into the United States.
 
Of course, the elephant in the room is whether COVID leaked from the Wuhan lab or was intentionally released from the lab. And are there variants of it being released in the U.S. now?

Boycott Bad Bunny
 
In recent years, Super Bowl halftime shows have often been offensive. Sunday’s halftime show has the potential to be so as well. This year’s main performer is Puerto Rican rapper Benito Ocasio, aka Bad Bunny.
 
Ocasio is rabidly anti-Trump. He has mocked Americans who don’t speak Spanish. He performs many of his shows in drag. He canceled his entire U.S. tour and said he would never perform in the United States again in protest of President Trump’s enforcement of our immigration laws. But that’s not stopping him from doing the Super Bowl halftime performance.
