The U.S. intelligence community has intercepted a communication to Iranian sleeper cells around the world to launch attacks on U.S. interests wherever they can.
 
Sleeper cells are individuals who usually have come into European countries and the United States, often illegally, but many times legally. They have been waiting for the signal to strike. The recent failed attack in New York City is one example of what Iranian sleeper cells might do. In other cases, the jihadists might be “home grown"–radicalized online.
 
During Joe Biden’s four years of open borders, more than 1,500 Iranian nationals were arrested at the southern border. More than 700 of them were released into the country. And those are just the ones we know about. We don’t know how many Iranians were among the 2 million "gotaways.”
 
The two radical Islamists arrested for the attempted bombing of a protest in New York City this weekend admitted to law enforcement authorities that they wanted to commit a terrorist attack “even bigger” than the Boston Marathon bombing. The FBI found additional explosive devices while searching a storage unit in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
 
An attorney representing one of the jihadists claimed that the two men did not live near each other, did not go to the same high school, and may not have even known each other before Saturday’s attempted terrorist attack.
 
That led one retired FBI agent to ask, “How were they brought together? Where did they get the explosive material? Who taught them how to assemble the bomb?”
 
Emir Balat, one of the Islamic supremacists, told police, “[Islam] isn’t a religion that just stands when people talk about the blessed name of the prophet… We take action! We take action! If I didn’t do it, someone else will come and do it.”
 
Balat also gave police interrogators a note he had written: “All praise is due to Allah, lord of all worlds! I pledge my allegiance to the Islamic State. Die in your rage, you kuffar [infidel]!”
 
Yet Mayor Mamdani and virtually the entire Democrat Party establishment in New York City tried to downplay this attack as a “nothingburger” while they labeled the anti-Islamist demonstrators as “white supremacists.”
 
So, if you oppose radical Islam, you’re a “white supremacist” or a “Christian nationalist.” That’s how the Left shuts down debate.
 
 
 
Speaking Of Shutdowns…
 
There are reports that someone opened fire on the U.S. consulate in Toronto, Canada, early Tuesday morning. A top Iranian security official again threatened to assassinate President Trump, posting on social media, “Be careful not to be eliminated yourself!”
 
So, we’ve got Iran activating terrorist sleeper cells, an attempted terrorist attack in New York City, and more Iranian threats against President Trump’s life, but Democrats still refuse to fund the Department of Homeland Security.
 
President Trump called them out again Monday, saying:
 
“Democrats have shut down the Department of Homeland Security. They’ve got it shut down. Do you believe it? Right now. Because they care more about amnesty for illegal alien criminals than about protecting the lives of Americans.”
 
 
 
More Mamdani Madness
 
Sunday evening, Mayor Mamdani and his Jew-hating wife held a Ramadan dinner at Gracie Mansion. Their special dinner guest was Mahmoud Khalil, the Hamas sympathizer who led the antisemitic riots at Columbia University.
 
That must have been one big Jew-hating fest. I’d love to have a transcript of that conversation! Where’s the FBI when you need them? Will any reporter ask the mayor what they talked about? Did his wife’s antisemitic posts come up during their dinner conversation?
 
The week before, Mamdani celebrated Ramadan at a Staten Island mosque, where he was introduced by Abdullah Akl. Like Khalil, Akl is another Hamas sympathizer who led anti-Israel protests in 2024. At one New York City protest, Akl called for strikes on Tel Aviv and led the mob in chants of, “There is only one solution. Intifada revolution!”
 
 
 
The Left’s Fear Fest
 
America’s progressive elites were in full-blown panic mode Monday about the end of the world and oil prices skyrocketing to “infinity” a barrel. Their fear sent the stock market into a freefall.
 
But all it took was a couple of sentences from President Trump to turn things around. Trump said the mission in Iran is significantly ahead of schedule and could be over soon. Oil prices plummeted and the stock market rebounded just moments after Trump’s remarks.
 
CNBC’s programming has been one big paid commercial advertisement for doing nothing and leaving Iran alone because of the potential economic fallout. Well, the fallout of a mushroom cloud over Jerusalem or New York City would be much, much worse.
 
So, the elites of America’s financial media agree with the Democrats who are predicting our defeat and claiming there is no chance of a good outcome for America. These are the same people who said we should fight to the death against Russia in Ukraine. But we can’t deal with Iran?
 
The dichotomy shouts that there’s something else going on. Why would anyone be all in for risking a nuclear war with Russia and scared to death about getting into a conflict with Iran when they don’t have nuclear weapons yet?
 
And by the way, taking down or weakening Iran’s Islamist regime really hurts Russia. What is the disconnect here in their fevered brains?
 
As we mentioned yesterday, President Trump has managed to put the Democrats on the wrong side of another 80/20 issue. He did it repeatedly in the State of the Union address on the border, on voter ID, on honoring Americans hurt by left-wing policies, etc.
 
Now, he’s done it again when it comes to a quick conflict with Iran. The polling shows the American people are solidly behind President Trump if we can neutralize the threat from Iran in a reasonably short period of time.

Prayers At The Pentagon
 
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth held a press conference at the Pentagon Tuesday morning. He closed his remarks by quoting from Psalm 144 and then offered a prayer for our troops. He said:
 
“‘Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield in whom I take refuge.’
 
"May the Lord grant unyielding strength and refuge to our warriors, unbreakable protection to them and our homeland, and total victory over those who seek to harm them. Amen. God bless our troops and this mission.”
 
Hegseth’s remarks will no doubt send Mikey Weinstein of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) into fits of rage. Weinstein claims his organization is getting complaints from rank-and-file troops about military commanders framing the conflict with Iran in “end times theology” rhetoric.
 
During an interview with “60 Minutes,” Secretary of War Pete Hegseth was asked, “Is there any part of you, Mr. Secretary, that views any of this in a religious context?” Hegseth replied:
 
“Obviously, we’re fighting religious fanatics who seek a nuclear capability in order for some religious Armageddon [to occur]. But from my perspective, obviously, I’m a man of faith who encourages our troops to lean into their faith, rely on God. There are no atheists in foxholes.”

The Cap Flap
 
President Trump is being smeared by the left-wing media for wearing a white baseball cap with “USA” inscribed on it during the dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base this weekend. This president does more to honor our troops than any president in recent memory.
 
Unlike Biden, Trump didn’t look at his watch during the dignified transfer, as if he’d rather be somewhere else. Unlike Biden and Obama, our troops have never said they felt disrespected by Commander-in-Chief Donald Trump. Unlike Biden, the families of those killed at Abbey Gate in Kabul, Afghanistan, never said Donald Trump abandoned them. 
 
This flap over a cap is just another example of the Left constantly attacking Donald Trump no matter what he does or does not do.
