May 1st is an internationally recognized holiday of sorts for communists and socialists. More than 600 organizations, including self-identified communist and Maoist groups, organized 3,000 events and demonstrations across the country Friday for what was essentially a nationwide general strike.
 
Their slogan was “No Work, No School, No Shopping.” Both major teachers’ unions—the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers—are active participants and promoters of this May Day mayhem.
 
Most revealing is the number of official Democrat Party organizations, including state and local chapters and party caucuses, that joined hand-in-hand with the Marxists. Can you imagine what would happen to any Republican or conservative organization that was caught working with such radical, anti-American extremists?
 
One Democrat strategist told Fox News:
 
“The increasing willingness of mainstream Democrats to align with extremist socialist groups is a major factor in why the Democratic Party is losing the center more and more, and why so many lifelong Democrats find themselves feeling politically homeless.”
 
Yet, as I noted last week, the polling on control of Congress is split 50/50.
 
Houston, we have a problem.
 
 
 
Bongino’s Bombshell
 
There are continuing reports that the Trump administration’s investigation of the Deep State and the Russia collusion hoax is advancing. That’s why the disturbing comments by former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino caught my attention.
 
He told Sean Hannity last week, “I thought I knew Russiagate. It was 10 times worse.” Referring to the infamous “burn bags,” he said, “That was basically the keys to the kingdom on Crossfire.” Bongino continued:
 
“I’m reading this document and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe this happened in the United States.’ It wasn’t just that it happened in the United States, it was that so many people knew about it. All you had to do was read it. This thing was bulls— from the start…
 
"I was never the same after that, because after reading what I read about how many people did this to President Trump, this Russia hoax, collusion, Crossfire Hurricane bulls—, and not a single person stopped them, I’m terrified.”
 
Bongino said there were “two FBIs"—one was populated with professionals and the other was "populated with snakes.” They created a shadow government within the government that does the bidding of the radical Left.
 
Freeing America of this Deep State shadow government will be one of the most important things President Trump could do to “defend democracy” and save our Republic.
 
 
 
Biden’s Bias: Part 2
 
We looked deeper into the report issued Thursday by the president’s Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias. It confirms all of our worst fears. Among other things, it is obvious that the pro-abortion movement controlled the Department of Justice.
 
Biden’s Justice Department was working closely with Planned Parenthood and other far-left abortion advocates. These outside groups created dossiers on pro-life activists, including taking pictures of their children. They monitored pro-life activists and tracked their movements.
 
Eventually, the pro-abortion groups handed over all the information they gathered to the Biden Justice Department so it could prosecute these pro-life activists.
 
In other words, Planned Parenthood and its baby-killing allies were the “secret police” of the Biden/Harris administration! The prosecutions weren’t based on evidence the government collected but on information obtained from biased sources.
 
And when these pro-life Christians were prosecuted, the Biden/Harris administration played dirty. They withheld evidence, attempted to prevent Christians from sitting on any juries and pushed for sentences that were twice as long as those requested for pro-abortion defendants.
 
Biden’s federal prosecutors even “fantasized about prosecuting Catholic nuns.” We know Biden’s FBI spied on Catholic churches. One of those prosecutors worked with Jack Smith to persecute President Trump. The New York Times said he was “known for his aggressive approach.” Now, he’s running for Congress in Virginia. 
 
This is a good time to pause and thank God that we aren’t waiting for remarks today from “President Harris” and “Vice President Walz.” Most of us would probably be meeting with our attorneys trying to figure out how to stay out of jail.
 
It’s also a good time to start praying and working to ensure that Christians don’t face the possibility of that happening ever again. If the country foolishly turns back to the Left this November and two years from now, we will be confronted by a radical movement that is even crazier than it was two years ago. (See below.)
 
 
 
Maine Madness
 
Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer got some bad news Thursday. Maine Gov. Janet Mills dropped out of the Senate race. Mills was the party establishment’s choice to take on incumbent Republican Susan Collins. Now the nominee will be political newcomer and far-left radical Graham Platner.
 
The bad news for us is that it’s not at all clear he will lose. And it boils down to what President Trump said a couple of months ago, “These people are crazy!”
 
They are different from what they were even in 2024. Last year, they elected an attorney general in Virginia who fantasized about the murders of his opponents’ children. A Democrat candidate in Iowa married Satanists.
 
Now, we could end up with the worst yet in the Senate—a guy with a Nazi tattoo, who joked about rape, praised the efficiency of Hamas attacks and called himself a “communist.”
 
Can you imagine other senators having to refer to him as “the honorable gentleman from Maine”?
 
Even Barney Frank is speaking out against the Democrat Party’s radical lurch to the Left. You know it’s really bad when it gets too crazy for the guy who ran a gay prostitution ring out of his apartment!
 
 
 
Good News
 

• The Trump Justice Department indicted David Morens, a top advisor to Dr. Anthony Fauci, for violating federal transparency laws. Among other things, Morens is accused of attempting to hide records related to the funding of the Wuhan lab.

• The Trump Justice Department indicted two left-wing activists for assaulting Turning Point USA reporter Savannah Herandez as she was covering a demonstration against federal immigration police.

• A voter ID law will be on the ballot this November in California.

• North Carolina is removing 34,000 dead people from its voter rolls. They were discovered during citizenship verification efforts, highlighting the importance of voter roll maintenance.

• The Vermont Principals’ Association has been ordered to pay more than $560,000 for banning a Christian school from sports competitions after its female athletes refused to compete against boys claiming to be girls.
