PRESIDENT TRUMP KILLS NOTORIOUS TREN DE ARAGUA LEADER 

• This past Friday, President Trump announced that the leader of the vicious Venezuela-based criminal gang Tren de Aragua, Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, was killed by an aerial strike from U.S. Southern Command.
• Flores, also known as “Niño Guerrero,” was killed in a mission that was closely coordinated with the Venezuelan government.
• Guerrero, one of the founders of Tren de Aragua, was indicted on drug trafficking and terrorism charges last year.
• The State Department had a $5 million reward for information that could lead to the capture of Guerrero.
• The world is a safer place now that Guerrero is dead.

GUERRERO HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN VIOLENT CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES FOR OVER TWO DECADES

• Guerrero was a notorious criminal, wanted for murder, escaping prison, drug trafficking, and more.
• Guerrero ran the Tren De Aragua gang from within Tocoron Prison in Venezuela for years.
• Guerrero had great power and influence within the prison, living a life of “luxury” with pools and a zoo, while running the gang’s operation.
• Since his escape, his whereabouts had been unknown for years.

JOE BIDEN WAS DANGEROUSLY INCOMPETENT 

• Cartels were incentivized to expand their drug and human smuggling operation under Joe Biden’s open border policies.
• Under Biden, human smuggling became a billion-dollar business.
• President Trump designated Tren de Aragua as a foreign terrorist organization at the beginning of his second term.
• President Trump also invoked the Alien Enemies Act, allowing suspected Tren de Aragua members to be swiftly detained and deported from the United States.
• President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history.

PRESIDENT TRUMP IS KEEPING AMERICA SAFE FROM TERRORISTS 

• President Trump has been fighting to eradicate Tren de Aragua from our streets:
• Denver-based Tren de Aragua members were arrested last summer by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
•  Hundreds of gang members were arrested in a Houston operation last August, including 25 members of Tren de Aragua. 
• One Tren de Aragua member was arrested in Washington, D.C. shortly after President Trump activated the National Guard.
• 1,406 illegal aliens were arrested last September in Boston during Operation Patriot 2.0, including over 600 with criminal histories, some of which were members of Tren de Aragua.
• Last November, federal agents raided a Tren de Aragua sex and human trafficking operation in San Antonio, Texas, netting 140 arrests.
• Earlier this year, two Tren de Aragua members who were let loose by the Biden administration attempted to run down federal agents in Seattle before being shot and detained.
• Just last month, the Department of Justice announced charges against more than 25 members of Tren de Aragua across multiple states, resulting in the seizure of more than 80 firearms and 40 pounds of narcotics.
• Also last month, the FBI successful extradited a high-ranking member of Tren de Aragua to face drug distribution and terrorism charges in the United States.
• President Trump has taken bold steps to fight against narco-terrorists threatening our hemisphere.
• In January the United States successfully captured former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
• Last year, President Trump secured a bilateral deal with Ecuador to combat transnational crime.
• The United States military continues to eliminate narco-terrorists who try and smuggle dangerous drugs into our country, so far striking 63 boats while killing over 200 terrorists.
