Yet another shoe has dropped in the ongoing scandal-plagued saga that is Graham Platner’s Senate campaign. Jenny Racicot is publicly accusing Platner of breaking into her home and raping her.
 
Racicot’s charges seemingly carry more credibility because she’s a leftist. She admits that she didn’t come forward sooner because she “really agrees with his politics.”
 
The Democrat Party establishment is in meltdown mode. They are terrified that they can’t take back the Senate if they lose in Maine. The Democrat Party has until July 13th to replace his name on the ballot with another candidate. (Democrats are having serious issues in Texas, too.)
 
Virtually every prominent Democrat who backed Platner is now running from him. Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Gov. J.B. Pritzker, Rep. Ro Khanna, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and antisemitic social media influencer Hasan Piker have all withdrawn their endorsements and demanded Platner drop out of the race.
 
It appears he’s done. We’ll see. Democrats appear to be struggling to find a replacement for him. One possible candidate hit a woman in the head with a bottle!
 
But don’t forget everything about Platner that was already conceded before this latest revelation. 

• Democrat leaders from top to bottom and Democrat voters in Maine were willing to forgive or didn’t care that he had a Nazi tattoo and lied about it. 

• Multiple women said he physically mistreated them. 

• He said he was a communist. 

• He mocked wounded veterans. 

• He smeared police officers. 

• He called rural and White Americans “racist and stupid.” 

• He had a profile on a social media platform known for being a “predator’s paradise.” 

• He mocked Mary, the mother of Jesus, as a “skank.” 

• He lied about his working-class background. 

Platner is not an oddity. Last year, news broke that the Democrat candidate for attorney general in Virginia fantasized about conservative children dying in their mothers’ arms in order to teach conservatives a lesson.
 
At the time, Republicans thought, “Well, we may lose the governor’s race, but at least we will win the attorney general’s race. How could decent liberals vote for that guy?” It wasn’t even close. The Democrat won by seven points.
 
Why would a party that doesn’t care about a million abortions a year care about Republican children dying in the arms of their conservative mothers?
 
Today’s Democrat Party is being overrun by Marxists and Islamists. They have made a pact with the devil because they want unbridled power over your life.
 

 
 

No More Moderates
 
After Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential ambitions crashed and burned, some commentators suggested that Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) could be a “moderate” alternative to lead the Democrat Party back to the White House in 2028. Well, Shapiro recently went on “Morning Joe” and proved that he is no “moderate.”
 
Referring to the Supreme Court, he said, “I think we need radical reform that’s actually going to ensure that … the voices of the people are represented in the three branches of government.”
 
The Democrats’ “deep thinkers” have decided they must have a trifecta—control of all three branches of government—to make sure conservatives never win another election. That means taking over the Supreme Court by any means necessary, and leftists are demanding it.
 
The most notable “radical reform” is to pack the court. Democrats intend to add at least four more left-wing justices, turning the current 6 to 3 conservative majority into a 7 to 6 liberal majority. And Josh Shapiro is all in on hijacking the high court.
 
The judiciary and the Supreme Court were specifically created by the Founding Fathers to not be swayed by the “voices of the people.” Their job is to listen to one voice—the Constitution—when the mob (the people) goes off the rails and threatens individual liberty. That’s why federal judges and Supreme Court justices are given life-time appointments—to insulate them from political and public pressure.
 
Pennsylvania played a big role in the Revolutionary War and in the founding of our country. But Shapiro refused to participate in the Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C., celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
 
Why? Because the Left hates America. They’re not proud of our country. They say it’s “systemically racist and founded on slavery and genocide.” They don’t like the American flag. (See below.)
 
But it’s deeper than that. This is a man who’s already been humiliated by his own party. He wrote in his book that he was rejected as Harris’s vice presidential running mate because he is a Jew. He said the questions the Harris campaign asked about his loyalty to the United States and Israel were very uncomfortable and inappropriate.
 
How does he stay in a party that demands he “unJew” himself?
 
This is not just a Pennsylvania issue or a Josh Shapiro issue. The issue is that the Democrat Party has become too radical to be trusted with power. They want to destroy the system we just celebrated that has given us 250 years of unparalleled freedom and prosperity. 
 
 
 
Trans Tyranny
 
In many places, the demonically inspired transgender ideology is on defense thanks largely to one man. President Donald Trump has stopped the steamroller that was well on its way to imposing this evil on us.
 
Under Trump, the Department of Education, the Justice Department and the Department of Health and Human Services have all come down squarely on the side of common sense and reality.
 
They have filed lawsuits. They have supported parents and responsible medical professionals. People promoting gender delusions have been shamed. It is one of the only social issues in modern times where the leftist position has lost ground.
 
The public was able to see through the lies of the Left because Donald Trump was willing to fight them. Public opinion turned because people like Riley Gaines were willing to risk their personal safety in order to explain the unfairness of it.
 
But trans ideology still dominates academia. It still controls the popular culture. It has a death grip on the Democrat Party. And, most disgusting of all, it has gained a foothold in the church, with mainline denominations playing footsie with this demonic ideology.
 
The Presbyterian Church USA just voted in favor of mutilating children in the name of “gender affirming care.” That is a lie straight from the pits of hell. There is nothing “affirming” about it. It is gender denying. And it is certainly not healthcare. It sentences children to a lifetime of suffering and medical complications with absolutely no benefit, except for some sick doctor’s bottom line.
 
LGBTQ flags still fly outside of churches in every major city in the country. Pastors who claim to be teachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ continue to sow in their congregations a false compassion that destroys the children who are deceived by it.
 
But imagine what will happen if the Left gets control of Congress next year and the White House after that. Once they pack the courts, there will be a revolution of trans ideology through every part of our society. And Christian parents who refuse to “affirm” their child’s gender delusions will be turned into criminals. (Here and here.)
 
 
 
Hostin’s Hostility
 
Leave it to the ladies of “The View” to tear America down just after we celebrated our 250th birthday. Co-host Sunny Hostin told her audience Monday that she feels “unsafe” when she “walks into a community with American flags all over the community.”
 
We’ve heard this before. New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay said she was “really disturbed” by seeing lots of pickup trucks with American flags.
 
For the great majority of our history, we admired the American flag and what it stood for. We and our children pledged our allegiance to it.
 
Later, we intentionally added the words “under God” to the Pledge of Allegiance. We were not just asking our children to pledge allegiance to a government. We specified that they should pledge allegiance to our country only if it is under God.
 
Then, we accommodated atheists and others who, out of principle and respect for individual rights, did not want to recite the pledge. Next, we had to tolerate spoiled millionaire athletes claiming the flag represents so much that is wrong with America that they refused to stand during the national anthem.
 
And now where are we? There is a segment of the population that sees our flag and feels contempt for it. A recent survey found that Democrats view the Black Lives Matter flag more positively than the American flag.
 
I’m reminded of the Johnny Cash song, “Ragged Old Flag.” He sees a ragged old flag flying at the courthouse and says, “That flag looks like it needs to be replaced.” An old-timer replies, “Well, let me tell you something about that flag.” He then describes what the flag has been through and what it represents. It may be worn, but it carries history, sacrifice and meaning.
 
Sunny Hostin’s comments are being ridiculed by commentators on the right. But I have not seen a single mainstream liberal say, “That’s insane! She needs help.”
 
Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries won’t say anything. James Talarico, the Democrat Senate candidate in Texas, won’t criticize Hostin. He agrees with her. He says the American flag is “such a complicated symbol.”
 
Will California Gov. Gavin Newsom remind Hostin of how many men died for that flag? Will any Democrat presidential wannabe tell her to “get a life”? No, they won’t because that’s today’s Left. That’s their party.
 
In America today, you can either be governed by people who love our country and our flag or by people who have fear and loathing for the flag of the United States of America.
