Rigged System
Every media outlet is highlighting Donald Trump’s alleged inappropriate interactions with women, some of which date back decades. Meanwhile, they are ignoring bombshells about Hillary Clinton that would normally be major topics of national debate. That is one reason why Trump keeps talking about a rigged election. And many Americans agree with him. Recent polling finds that 62% of Americans believe the economy is rigged against them, and 68% are angry at the politicians in Washington. Hillary Clinton won’t change a thing.

Elites in both political parties are for open borders and big trade deals that gut our manufacturing base. To them Trump is a mortal threat and they are working together to stop him. To many voters, it seems like the elites are rigging the election to continue the policies that have rigged the economy against American workers.
It is infuriating to see Democrats and the media suggest that talking about “rigged elections” undermines our democracy. No, rigging the election undermines our democracy!
But what is even more infuriating is to see some GOP leaders rush to a microphone to condemn Trump.
Every year when responsible Republican governors and state legislators attempt to take the necessary steps to ensure the integrity of our electoral process (such as requiring an ID to vote), Democrats and the media howl with rage. They accuse Republicans of voter suppression and of trying to rig the election. I don’t recall GOP leaders accusing Democrats of undermining our democracy.
We know voter fraud is huge problem.
Indiana police raided a left-wing group that was committing voter fraud to rig the election.
Dead people are voting in Colorado, rigging the election.
Illegal immigrants are registering and voting in Virginia, rigging the election.
In 2012, Republican poll watchers were physically threatened and removed from Philadelphia precincts, rigging the election. This has been going on for decades in big urban areas where cheating is easy.
The Clinton campaign believed Obama engaged in voter fraud in 2008 and feared that the Sanders campaign was trying to rig the primary process again. But we know that the DNC was rigging the primary against Bernie.
Yet when Trump expresses concerns about the election, Democrats, their media allies and even some Republicans say that his concerns are beyond the pale.
Left-wing Violence Continues
While the media fret about Trump’s rhetoric, left-wing political violence represents a far greater threat to our democracy. Over the weekend, more than 20 cars were vandalized outside of a Trump rally in Maine.
Far worse than that, the GOP headquarters in Orange County, North Carolina, was fire bombed. A large Molotov cocktail was thrown through a window, destroying the office. News reports also indicate that a swastika was spray painted on the side of the building along with this threat: “Nazi Republicans get out of town or else.” Unbelievably, CNN blamed the firebombing on Trump’s rhetoric.
Donald Trump responded to the news, tweeting, “Animals representing Hillary Clinton and Dems in North Carolina just firebombed our office in Orange County because we are winning.”
Governor Pat McCrory condemned the attack, saying, “The firebombing of a local political headquarters in Orange County is clearly an attack on our democracy. Violence has no place in our society — but especially in our elections.”
Tom Stevens, mayor of Hillsborough, also denounced the arson, saying, “It willfully threatens our community’s safety … and its hateful message undermines decency, respect and integrity in civic participation.”
What’s Wrong With Podesta?
Among the newly released Wikileak documents is an email exchange between top Clinton campaign aides lamenting the fact that the San Bernardino shooters were Muslims, not white Americans.
When informed that MSNBC host Chris Hayes had identified the shooter as Sayeed Farook, Podesta expresses no anger at yet another jihadist attack. Instead, he says, “Better if a guy named Sayeed Farouk [sic] was reporting that a guy named Christopher Hayes was the shooter.”
What normal human being wishes that his fellow countrymen had been massacred by a fellow American rather than a Muslim supremacist?
Podesta’s reaction speaks volumes about the left’s mindset. The left sees Middle America — not the radical Islamic extremism — as the greater threat. They want to bring millions of additional Muslims into the country at a time when Islam has a major problem with extremism. And Podesta will be at the right hand of a President Hillary Clinton should she win this November.
Kaepernick Kneels Again
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick took a knee again during the National Anthem just before [Sunday’s] game against the Buffalo Bills. But Bills fans were ready for him. Before the Anthem began, New Era Field broke out in chants of “U.S.A! U.S.A!” And while Kaepernick knelt during the National Anthem, a police officer stood behind at attention and saluting the whole time.
Fan protests of Kaepernick’s antics are taking many forms, including what appears to be an NFL boycott. NFL ratings so far this season are down 15%.
A recent Quinnipiac University poll found that 54% of Americans opposed athletes protesting during the National Anthem. Only 38% of Americans — including 63% of Democrats — supported such protests. Eighty-seven percent of Republicans and 57% of independents opposed them.
This is just another example of the left’s culture war against America and just how out-of-step the left truly is. But big media covers for the left and too few Republicans are willing to fight back.
Celebrating Death
Yesterday marked the 100th anniversary of the founding of Planned Parenthood. Hillary Clinton tweeted her support for the nation’s largest abortion provider yesterday, telling America that “Planned Parenthood has provided care for millions. That’s worth celebrating — and protecting.”
But make no mistake about it: Abortion is Planned Parenthood’s cash cow and its raison d'etre. During the tenure of Planned Parenthood’s current president, Cecile Richards, the reality is that the life-saving care it provides is down, while the number of abortions is up.
You can read more about Planned Parenthood’s history in my latest opinion piece at the Washington Examiner.
