[Sunday] afternoon, FBI Director James Comey issued another bombshell announcement. The same FBI that took nearly a year to look through 30,000 emails was able to comb through 650,000 in just ten days. Director Comey sent a letter to Capitol Hill [Sunday] informing members of Congress that he saw no reason to change his conclusions from July.

The Clinton campaign and its media allies hailed this announcement as a great victory. CNN — the Clinton News Network — ran this headline: “FBI Clears Clinton — Again.”

I really have no idea how Director Comey can conclude that it is okay for Hillary’s classified emails to be on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. Who knows where else they might be?

But I think it is worth remembering that Mr. Comey’s July conclusions suggested that Hillary wasn’t really “cleared” then either.

Contrary to Hillary’s public statements, the FBI determined that she and her aides “were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information” on multiple unsecured devices.

Contrary to her assertions, Hillary and her staff did not turn over all relevant emails to the State Department as required under federal law. Comey said in July, “The FBI also discovered several thousand work-related e-mails that were not in the group of 30,000 that were returned by Secretary Clinton to State in 2014.”

Comey also said in July, “We assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton’s personal e-mail account.”

Now that Hillary has been “cleared” a second time, surely there will be a forthcoming announcement that all of her aides who asserted their Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination will gladly come forward and testify about their knowledge of her private server.

Don’t hold your breath. It’s not going to happen. And that speaks volumes.

In addition, the investigation into the Clinton Foundation, which involves family members and close personal aides, is still ongoing and will continue even if — Heaven forbid — she wins [today].

Plus, we are still learning of even more “extremely careless” behavior.

Evidently, Hillary ordered Maria Santos to print out classified information for her. Who is Ms. Santos? That would be Hillary’s maid. Are you feeling safe now?

That’s material you and I cannot see, but Hillary’s maid had full access. I’m sure Ms. Santos is a wonderful lady, but I wonder what her security clearance is.

He is the nominee of the party of Lincoln and Reagan and the only person standing between Hillary Clinton and four or eight more years of radical policymaking, particularly on abortion.

Encouraging News

Republican early voting in Florida has surged. The numbers suggest Trump may be outperforming Mitt Romney by more than 130,000 votes — well more than Obama’s margin of victory four years ago.

There are similar reports coming from North Carolina, where the GOP early vote appears to be exceeding 2012 by 140,000 votes.

Trump is leading by two points in the most accurate poll.

New Mexico — a state Obama won four years ago by 10 points — may be a tossup.

What else does she know? The Clinton campaign has cancelled its planned fireworks victory display.
