Ball Park Shooter Was Radicalized by the Left
What I’m about to say is politically incorrect, but it needs to be said: Our great nation is teetering on the brink of political and cultural anarchy.
What I’m about to say is politically incorrect, but it needs to be said: Our great nation is teetering on the brink of political and cultural anarchy.
And the blame lies with Hollywood and the mainstream media and public universities and far left activists who are fomenting hatred and trying to bring down the Trump administration.
The idea of shooting people on American soil because of their political affiliation was unthinkable — until Wednesday.
The gunman absolutely despised President Trump and he reportedly wanted to kill as many Republicans as he could.
All it takes is a cursory glance at the gunman’s Facebook page to find out how he was radicalized by the Left.
He was a devout disciple of a self-avowed Socialist and an avid viewer of progressive cable television shows. He followed far-Left organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center.
To be clear, socialists and progressive television hosts and far-left organizations are not responsible for what happened at that ball park. The only person responsible for the bloodshed is the man who pulled the trigger.
But we would be foolish if we did not address the seething rage from those who hate President Trump and conservatives; those infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Consider the irrefutable facts:
The D-list comedian who beheaded the president.
The attempts to silence conservatives on college campuses through violence and intimidation.
The GOP office that was firebombed in North Carolina.
The violent mobs that attacked women and children at Trump campaign rallies.
The 2016 taxpayer-funded play titled “Killing Republicans” and the 2017 production of “Julius Caeser” that featured a bloody faux-assassination of President Trump.
The high school teachers who pretended to assassinate the commander in chief.
The Republican lawmakers who’ve been subjected to death threats and violent taunting at town hall meetings.
The professor who said Republicans must be executed and another who said they should be lined up and shot.
On Wednesday, those university professors nearly got their wish when a baseball field nearly became a killing field.
This is not who we are, America, but this is what we’ve become — a nation fundamentally transformed.
The time has come for the Left to stop the hateful rhetoric. The time has come to stop the violence. The time has come for the Left to finally accept the results of the 2016 presidential election.
