Another Radical Imam

In previous reports, we have told you about radical imams preaching hateful anti-Israel, anti-Semitic sermons at mosques in California and South Carolina. Well, add Tennessee to that growing and disturbing list.

In previous reports, we have told you about radical imams preaching hateful anti-Israel, anti-Semitic sermons at mosques in California and South Carolina. Well, add Tennessee to that growing and disturbing list.

Here’s just some of what Imam AhmedulHadi Sharif told his followers at the Islamic Center of Tennessee, located just south of Nashville in Antioch:

“The Zionists, the number one terrorists in the world, had occupied and kidnapped that land a long time ago. Now they want to add the Al-Aqsa Mosque to their occupations…

"When I used to go to school in my country, back home, we used to recite songs. One of them we used to say constantly: ‘Jerusalem belongs to us, not to Israel.’ We used to repeat that. ‘Jerusalem belongs to us.’ … Today, if we lose Jerusalem — know that it is not going to stop there… The enemies of Allah will come and try to destroy the Kaaba…

"Oh Allah, inflict Your revenge upon them. Do not let their banners fly high, and do not let them achieve their goals. Make a deterrent example out of them. Oh Allah, defeat them, convulse them, and support us.”

Kudos to our friends at the Middle East Media Research Institute for exposing Sharif.

California, South Carolina, Tennessee. How many of the estimated 2,500 mosques in America are infected with this kind of hate? I fear the problem is far worse than we know.

And I will ask the same question that I asked when news broke about Barack Obama’s pastor, Jeremiah Wright, railing against America: How many people walked out?

When these radical imams rail against Israel and call for Allah to strike down the Jews, how many adherents of this so-called “religion of peace” walk out in disgust and protest?

Did anyone report what they heard to the authorities? If not, I suspect the audience liked what it was hearing.

Merry Christmas

This year’s White House Christmas card has been released. And here’s the shocking part — it actually says “Merry Christmas.”

For eight years, Barack and Michelle Obama were unable to bring themselves to use those words. There were “season’s greetings” and “happy holidays,” but “Merry Christmas” never made it on the Christmas card.

The White House also produced a video featuring First Lady Melania Trump showing off the incredible White House Christmas decorations. You can watch it here.

Here’s some more good news to help put you in the Christmas spirit.

Open-borders/amnesty advocate Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) announced that he is retiring and will not seek re-election next year.

Also retiring (sort of) is Keith Olbermann. He ended his “resistance” series and announced, “I’m retiring from political commentary.” Thank goodness! Stopping all that hot air can be Olbermann’s contribution to ending global warming.

Pocahontas & Racism

At a White House ceremony honoring Native American veterans, President Trump went off script and made a joke about Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

“I just want to thank you because you are a very, very special people. You were here long before any of us were here,” the president said. “Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her ‘Pocahontas.’”

If anyone had asked me, I would have suggested that the president avoid the lighthearted remark, but he probably thought that these veterans had a sense of humor. Clearly, the liberal elites and the Washington press corps do not.

It was incredible watching the left-wing media establishment erupt in howls of protest. Sen. Warren denounced the president’s remark as a “racist slur.”

At Monday’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was peppered with barbed questions from hostile reporters. When asked why the president made such an “offensive” remark, Sanders shot back, “I think what most people find offensive is Senator Warren lying about her heritage to advance her career.”

Let’s be clear about that. The only racist thing here is that a Caucasian woman claimed to be a member of a certain ethic group in order to secure a benefit, in this case a cushy job at Harvard. Presumably by getting that benefit, Warren denied a real Native American the spot she took.

Suggesting that it was “racist” of Trump to remind Americans that Warren exploited programs meant to help minorities is completely backwards.

By the way, as Eric Trump noted, the reporter making the biggest fuss about this issue at the press briefing was from ABC News. As I recall, ABC is owned by Disney, which made a lot of money on a movie called … you guessed it, Pocahontas.

Kudos to Washington

Actor Denzel Washington is in hot water with the Left. During a tour promoting his new movie, in which he plays a criminal defense lawyer, Washington went off script when he refused to condemn the police or the criminal justice system.

Referring to the struggles facing the black community, Washington said this:

“It starts in the home. If the father is not in the home the boy will find a father in the streets. I saw it in my generation and every generation before me, and every one since. If the streets raise you, then the judge becomes your mother and prison becomes your home.”

Asked to clarify his response, Washington answered:

“It starts with how you raise your children. If a young man doesn’t have a father figure, he’ll go find a father figure. So, you know, I can’t blame the system. It’s unfortunate that we make such easy work for them.”
