The Neutering of the American Male

In today’s America, it’s not too shocking that millions of people who have been brainwashed by their teachers, the media and their left-leaning parents, have been convinced that competition is bad, and guns are worse.

In today’s America, it’s not too shocking that millions of people who have been brainwashed by their teachers, the media and their left-leaning parents have been convinced that competition is bad and guns are worse. What’s a bit surprising is that even chivalry has been given a black eye because radicalized feminists regard it as patronizing, interpreting it to mean that whereas men are strong and capable, women are weak and defenseless.

Those are matters of opinion. But what is factual and statistically provable, as was recently reported by Tucker Carlson, is that men are dying, on average, five years earlier than women; that more women than men are going to college and are far likelier to be taking up medicine and the law.

While we’re on the subject, it is high time we put to rest the feminist lie that women earn 77 cents for every dollar earned by men. When they have the same education and experience as men and are doing the same — not so-called comparable — job, they earn the same salary.

So much for the phony propaganda about women being sorely victimized in the world of employment. Frankly, I was shocked when the likes of Gloria Steinem and Hillary Clinton stooped to making that phony claim because even a small child would have been moved to ask why, in that case, employers ever hired men.

Science has even determined that over the past few decades, the level of testosterone has declined by 30% in 40-year-old American men.

Those who have recorded the decline haven’t been able to come up with an explanation, so I may as well take a whack at it. I blame Alan Alda and Mike Farrell of “MASH.” Those two guys did a lot to change the image of a real man from the macho problem-solver represented by John Wayne and Gary Cooper to the sensitive pantywaist who cried at girly movies and swayed to and fro while holding candles at concerts memorializing Princess Di.

I’m willing to take my share of the blame, but only a small part because I only wrote eight of the 270 episodes.

A couple of people have written to ask why, when I recently listed scandals that took place during Obama’s eight-year tenure, I had left out the Benghazi massacre and the military veterans who died while waiting to see a doctor at the VA. It was for the same reason I didn’t refer to all those Obama documents, including birth certificates, travel visas and college records, that went missing. As long as my articles tend to be, even I can’t list every single item on a seemingly endless laundry list.

When she isn’t calling for Donald Trump’s impeachment, Maxine Waters is demanding reparations for black Americans. At her age, she should be taking things easy, but, thanks to John Conyers having to resign from Congress because of allegations of sexual harassment, she has had to take on the reparations fight. Prior to this year, Conyers had submitted legislation calling for white guilt money every year since 1989.

The truth is I’m surprised that even when Obama had a super majority, the Democrats didn’t pass the bill so that they could once again bribe black voters with our tax dollars.

What Rep. Waters should be doing, if she weren’t such a worthless example of walking pond scum, is fighting against her party’s attempt to grant voting rights to illegal aliens. While it’s true that voter fraud helps Democrats, the more Hispanic voters there are, the less influence black voters will have at election time.

I believe that most people would agree that the sins of the fathers should not be visited on the sons or daughters. But that is exactly what reparations would do. The only difference is that instead of dealing with the sins of fathers, blacks are presenting their IOU to the great-great-great-great-grandsons and granddaughters.

But it’s even worse than that because most of our ancestors didn’t arrive on these shores until decades after slavery ended, and were themselves escaping potato famines, the Cossacks or various forms of tyranny.

And while we white people are constantly bombarded by blacks demanding a payoff for cruelty inflicted on people other than themselves, I never hear them utter a word of gratitude for the 300,000 white Union soldiers who died in a war that led to the end of slavery. In fact, while the entire nation is called upon to grieve for and honor Martin Luther King, Jr., I have never heard of any black person expressing gratitude for the two young Jewish civil rights volunteers, Andrew Goldman and Martin Schwerner, or even their black friend, James Chaney, who were all murdered by Klan members for the crime of trying to register black voters in Mississippi. Where’s their monument?

And what is owed to white Americans who have had to deal with the riots, thievery, murders and rapes, committed by the descendants of slaves in every part of America, and not just in the former member states of the Confederacy?

Among recent events, I took an enormous amount of pleasure in discovering that actress Emma Watson, who wanted to show her support for one of the groups that has popped up in the wake of Hollywood’s sexual harassment scandal, showed up at the Oscars sporting a tattoo on her arm that read “Times Up.” It was supposed to read “Time’s Up,” as in time is up for sexual predators. She did display a stiff upper lip, though, when she acknowledged that she would hire a proofreader the next time she went shopping for a tattoo.

Although I can’t claim to be an expert when it comes to tariffs and trade wars, I do know that for all the blather from conservatives about free trade, that’s not what we have in this country, and probably never did. Otherwise, farmers wouldn’t receive subsidies and those who manufacture solar panels and companies like Amazon would have to pay federal taxes.

So, I wasn’t too upset that Gary Cohn, who had been head of the National Economic Council, took his leave of the White House. For one thing, I suspect that President Trump knows more about tariffs and trade than anyone he’s likely to stick in that position; for another, I always thought Cohn was a lousy choice because he is a globalist and strongly objected to Trump’s freeing us from the Paris accords.

I hate to think that it’s just my advanced age that is making me so intolerant of the young people I keep seeing on TV. I’d like to think that even in my 20s, when I grew sick and tired of hearing my fellow college students natter on about the unjust war in Vietnam, when I knew for a fact that most of them were simply terrified of being shot at by the Viet Cong and being shouted at by tough southern Army sergeants, I would have had no use for the so-called Dreamers or the holier-than-thou students from Parkland. All of whom keep showing themselves to be simple-minded pawns of the Left.

When the feds filed a lawsuit targeting Arizona over its anti-illegal immigration policy, Obama insisted that the federal government alone had the authority to enforce immigration laws. However, now that Trump is in the Oval Office, places like California, Chicago and New York claim they have every right to obstruct federal law, and morons like Gov. Jerry Brown and Mayor Rahm Emanuel feel free to label President Trump a racist.

It occurred to me the other day that the last time I recall the FBI doing anything right was when special agent Clarisa Starling, with the invaluable assistance of Hannibal Lecter, cracked the case of serial killer Jame Gumb. But, come to think of it, that was in the movie “Silence of the Lambs.”
