Villains Posing as Heroes
When the self-righteous morons give full vent to their stupidity by knocking over the statues of Civil War heroes and demonstrating against the likes of Christopher Columbus and Thomas Jefferson, individuals who loom far above them in terms of courage and achievement, they are merely engaged in the sort of lunacy for which the Left is notorious.

Reality and facts never matter to those who label themselves Progressives. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has admitted as much. To her and her ilk the only things that really matter are those things that sound good, such as free food, free education, free healthcare and even a regular paycheck, even for those unwilling to work. Point out to these louts that their free stuff costs far more than any nation can afford and they accuse you of lying on behalf of vested selfish interests.
That is why the Left is always willing to take the side of criminals and lunatics. They are always happy to whitewash spies, traitors, anarchists, nihilists and murderers.
Just a short list of their heroes would include the anarchist McNamara brothers who, in a union dispute, bombed the L.A. Times in 1910; Sacco and Vanzetti, whose legitimate murder convictions became a Communist cause célèbre in the 1920s; “Uncle” Joseph Stalin, who murdered more people than Hitler; the atom bomb spies Ethel & Julius Rosenberg; the State Department traitor Alger Hiss; Fidel Castro and his psychotic sidekick Che Guevara; killer-turned-professor Angela Davis; terrorists/friends of Barack Obama, William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn; Philadelphia cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal; and New Jersey cop killer Assata Shakur (formerly JoAnne Chesimard) who naturally found refuge in Cuba.
More recently, the beneficiaries were a pair of black thugs named Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin, who were sanitized and lionized by Barack Obama, which is exactly how the corrupt American media transformed Obama himself from a typical black Chicago racist hack into a political rock star.
So long as someone can claim to have been motivated by his or her Leftist ideals, there is no crime so depraved that Communists and Socialists won’t hail the perpetrator as a comrade in arms.
When they’re not proclaiming the worst sort of sinners as heroic and hailing mass murderers as role models, the Left spends their time promoting junk science so long as it can be used to vilify capitalism, push for the bankruptcy of democratic industrial nations and bring about the destruction of what it regards as white culture.
It explains why global warming/climate change has become such an important element of the Leftist agenda that has become so prevalent over the past two decades. Apparently, when Mother Nature destroys the planet, her anger will only be directed at the industrial nations of the West.
How else to explain that the major despoilers of the world, the nations that pollute the atmosphere and turn the oceans into seas of plastic—China, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Thailand, Malaysia, Nigeria, Bangladesh and Brazil—don’t seem nearly as fearful as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims to be by the threat of the planet’s destruction by 2030?
When it comes to the amount of plastic polluting the oceans, China is responsible for more tonnage than the next five offenders combined. By the way, the U.S. doesn’t even make the short list.
While it’s possible that if you live in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Malaysia or Egypt, you might not care one way or the other if the Earth still exists in 2031, but it’s also possible that you haven’t fallen for all the Al Gore-inspired nonsense about the evils of CO2, otherwise known as carbon dioxide.
Before the left-wing junk scientists began vilifying what had previously been called the gas that keeps humans and animals alive, and crops and forests flourishing, everybody knew that without it, Earth would be a barren rock.
The degree of deception involved in the climate hoax is unmatched in human history.
An Australian scientist recently made a video that Joe Neuner was kind enough to pass along that demonstrated the dimensions of the fraud. He did so by standing behind a table on which there was one pile containing 85,800 grains of rice and a much smaller pile containing just 33 grains.
He explained that of every 85,800 molecules of air, only 33 consist of carbon dioxide. Of those 33, 32 are provided by Mother Nature; only one single grain is the result of the combined activities of seven and a half billion human beings; those activities including farming, industry, mining and transport.
In other words, nobody needs to be concerned about cow farts except for those other cows standing downwind.
Although it may come as a shock to my conservative friends and allies, I was never a big fan of Ann Coulter.
I never found her particularly amusing. Perhaps even worse, considering her obvious self-image, I never even found her attractive. In spite of the long blonde hair, I thought she looked decidedly witchy.
That said, you can imagine how I feel about her these days, now that she has declared she would not only vote for, but work for, Bernie Sanders in 2020. All she asks is that he become somewhat more hawkish about shutting down the Mexican border, confessing she is quite willing to overlook “the rest of the Socialist stuff.”
Apparently, Ms. Coulter has soured on President Trump, insisting “he hasn’t kept any of his promises.”
I suppose if you ignore his cutting taxes; moving the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem; revitalizing the economy; rebuilding the military; restructuring our trade deals; defending our religious rights; seating two actual conservative jurists on the Supreme Court; greenlighting the oil pipelines; reining in the EPA; defending the Second Amendment; and, in spite of a recalcitrant Congress, doing everything in his power to build his wall, she’s right.
Otherwise, you would have to suspect that all that hair dye has seriously damaged her brain.
I recently heard a story that strongly suggested that Ann Coulter isn’t the only recent sign of America’s declining standards.
A friend let me know that he had written a check for an amount ending in $66. But because the second six looked more like a zero, it was discounted to $60. When the guy went to the bank to complain, pointing out that he had written out the correct amount on the appropriate line of the check, the bank manager confessed that a lot of the younger clerks have a difficult time reading cursive writing.
Between a generation that is unable to read or write and a slightly earlier generation that never mastered basic math and, so, was unable to make change for a purchase of $7.47 if handed a $10 bill, the future looks decidedly bleak.
At this rate, Americans may soon find themselves walking around on all fours and living in caves.
What’s more, clothing may have to be redesigned in order to accommodate tails.
