Reporter Olivia Nuzzi Is Why People Hate the Mainstream Media

New York Magazine correspondent Olivia Nuzzi has become the poster child for why the American people hate the mainstream media.

New York Magazine correspondent Olivia Nuzzi has become the poster child for why the American people hate the mainstream media.

Ms. Nuzzi is the latest member of the White House Correspondents Association to disgrace herself on national television during a coronavirus briefing.

“If an American president loses more Americans over the course of six weeks than died in the entirety of the Vietnam war, does he deserve to be reelected?” she snarled.

President Trump, who has the patience of Job, refused to take the bait.

“We’ve lost a lot of people,” the president responded, “but if you look at what original projections were — 2.2 million — we’re probably heading to 60,000, 70,000. One person is far too many for this,” he replied.

It was an obscene question. Could you imagine the press asking President Obama if he felt responsible for the deaths of H1NI victims? Of course not.

Ms. Nuzzi is a particularly nasty member of the press.

She was a former intern for disgraced ex-congressman Anthony Weiner during his failed bid for the New York City mayor’s office. And let’s just say she had quite the reputation. I’ll let Wikipedia fill you in on that.

In early 2018, Nuzzi admitted to trespassing inside the home office of President Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski.

“You know, I just walked into the house, because nobody was answering at the door,” she told Columbia Journalism Review. She left the home after texting her boyfriend. Nuzzi said he advised her that “it probably wasn’t legal and that I should leave. I was like, ‘F—.’”

“I tried to knock on the basement door, but the gate wasn’t open. Then I walked up the steps to the main door and knocked for, like, 10 minutes. And I’m knocking, knocking, nobody’s answering,” she told Columbia Journalism Review. “But after a while, I just touched the door knob, and the door was open. I walked in and I’m in the house, by myself,” Nuzzi said. “So I took this photo of the quote on a wall. I peered around but I didn’t walk fully into the house.”

It’s beyond me how someone with such a checkered past would ever be allowed to step foot inside the White House, much less ask the president an offensive question.

And honestly, Ms. Nuzzi should be asking her philosophical death questions at the Chinese embassy. I’m certain she, along with the rest of the White House Correspondents Association, has clearance.

Clearance that one would expect from any Chinese propagandist.
