Did you see the news?

With human rights violations taking place all over the world, the Biden Administration has requested that the United Nations send international inspectors to investigate America’s human rights record. Not the abuses in Cuba or the genocide taking place in communist China, but here in the United States.

The request came Tuesday when Secretary of State Antony Blinken issued “a formal invitation for the U.N. Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism to visit the U.S.”

What’s the point of this? To have some foreign bureaucrat tell us how to run our country? Well, actually, yes that’s exactly the point.

This is a colossal betrayal, not to mention a huge waste of time and money.

We already know what the Biden/Harris Administration and the left think about our human rights record. They believe America is a country built on oppression, slavery and genocide. That’s what the 1619 Project and critical race theory are all about.

They believe America, and most especially law enforcement, is “systemically racist.” Joe Biden has repeatedly said that America has “never lived up to its founding principles.”

So, if the UN inspectors want to do this on the cheap, they can just Google Biden’s statements and other quotes from high-profile leftists.

Unfortunately, this isn’t just a one-off event, and I want you to see the pattern. This is the difference between American greatness and globalism. This would have been inconceivable under Donald Trump or Ronald Reagan.

• Joe Biden served under Barack Obama, and they conspired to send a treaty with our enemy Iran to the United Nations for approval BEFORE they sent it to the United States Senate for a rigged vote. They rigged the vote because they knew a fair up or down vote on the treaty itself would lose.

• It’s Democrat-appointed Supreme Court justices who have looked to international law, rather than our Constitution, to justify their left-wing decisions.

• Immediately after taking office, Biden rejoined the World Health Organization, even though it is controlled by communist China. We should have formed a new organization that actually follows health and science rather than Beijing.

• One of the clearest indications of how left-wing and globalist the Biden Administration would be was when American diplomats, while on U.S. soil, shamefully allowed themselves to be lectured by genocidal Chinese tyrants over our human rights record. If that meeting had taken place under President Trump, those State Department bureaucrats would have been fired before they returned to Washington, D.C.

• Sadly, a solid majority of self-identified liberal college students recently told pollsters that they are not proud of America.

The beloved Phyllis Schlafly warned for decades that there was a move toward world government that would submit the U.S. to the dictates of global bureaucrats. She was absolutely right, God bless her soul.

Investigate Cuba

If the Biden Administration is serious about investigating human rights abuses, it doesn’t have to look very far. Just 90 miles off the coast of Florida, the communist regime in Cuba has initiated a brutal crackdown against anyone calling for freedom.

Reports indicate that the Cuban regime has arrested at least 5,000 people in the past week. There is video of unarmed people being shot by state security forces. There is a huge crackdown on religious leaders.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, which I proudly served on for three years as a Trump-appointee, condemned Cuba’s communist government and demanded an end to its violations of religious liberty. It also called on the Biden Administration to impose additional sanctions. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem likely.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was pressed to answer a simple question yesterday: Isn’t it obvious that the Cuban people don’t want to live under communism? She would not say that.

Just imagine being the White House press secretary and being afraid that condemning communism might get you into trouble!

BLM Backs Communist Brutality

The Black Lives Matter organization, the same group that corporate America showered with millions of dollars last year, just issued a statement backing the brutal communist government in Cuba, and insisting that the U.S. embargo is “at the heart of Cuba’s current crisis.”

The BLM statement went on to praise the communist regime for “protecting Black revolutionaries like Assata Shakur.” Shakur was convicted for the killing of a New Jersey state trooper in 1973. She later escaped prison and fled to Cuba, where she was granted asylum by Fidel Castro.

BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors has repeatedly praised Shakur. That’s not terribly surprising since Cullors is an avowed Marxist who hates the police, has labeled law enforcement a “terrorist organization” and has “always wanted to fight them.”

I am pleased to report that the BLM group is facing tremendous backlash on social media. One human rights activist tweeted, “Black Lives Matter just sided with the oppressor.” National Review published this headline: “Black Lives Matter: Actually, That Kind of Police Brutality and Abuse Is Fine.”

Media Bias On Full Display

The latest example of outrageous media bias comes to us courtesy of the Reuters news agency. Yesterday, Reuters published a report expressing deep concern that the anti-communist protests in Cuba risk spreading COVID-19.

Are you kidding me?! The media didn’t give one whit about COVID during last year’s Antifa/BLM riots, I mean “mostly peaceful protests.”

This goes well beyond media bias. Most so-called “journalists” today are left-wing hacks who don’t even try to hide their liberal bias. And far too many of our “news” outlets are compromised by their desire to do business in communist China.

It’s too bad we can’t come up with a vaccine to stop the spread of socialist nonsense!
