The American economy shrank 0.3% in the first quarter of the year or 1.4% on an annualized basis. None of the “experts” Joe Biden relies on so much expected the economy to shrink.

It really shouldn’t surprise them, given the insanity coming out of Washington. Hard-working Americans are getting hammered.

Not surprisingly, Washington Democrats are setting their hair on fire. This CNN headline yesterday says it all: “Today Is A Disastrous Day For Democrats’ 2022 Chances.”

But the sad fact is that the past 15 months, never mind the last quarter, have been disastrous for America. The overwhelming majority of Americans believe the country under Biden/Harris/Pelosi/Schumer is on the wrong track. We need major change in Washington!

Progressive Priorities

A new analysis reveals that COVID relief money intended to help schools safely reopen was instead used to buy critical race theory curricula for many classrooms and to fund left-wing training sessions for teachers and school administrators.

The American Rescue Plan provided $122 billion to the nation’s schools. The White House said the money was meant to give school districts “the resources they need to safely reopen.” We were told it would be used for “virus mitigation measures,” like new ventilation systems, masks, plexiglass dividers, etc.

But once the left-wing bureaucrats got their hands on the money, they had other ideas. The Department of Education encouraged school districts to use the funds to “implement strategies designed for systemic change at the local and school level.”

Liberal teachers and school officials across the country quickly started using the money for radical critical race theory programs. For example, California received $15 billion in federal grants to reopen its schools. At least $1.5 billion was used for things like “implicit bias training,” “anti-bias strategies,” “environmental literacy,” and “LGBTQ+ cultural competency.”

New York used part of its $9 billion to fund “diversity, equity and inclusion” programs. Illinois used some of its $5 billion to pay for programs with an “emphasis on equity and diversity.”

This new report is very revealing of the left’s priorities. When a horrific new disease hit the country, the left rushed to exploit it. They closed our churches and businesses while they kept abortion clinics open. And every socialist idea they could think of, including poisonous critical race theory, was jammed into legislation intended to “fight the virus.”

Many people have complained about the way critical race theory just seemed to appear all of sudden. Well, it happened because Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer made it happen. It happened even as Democrats repeatedly denied it was happening.

Entire inner-city schools could have been totally rebuilt, brand new from the ground up with all that money. But much of it was wasted on left-wing nonsense.

In a healthy society, a party that behaved so irresponsibly would never be allowed to govern again. Americans overwhelmingly reject critical race theory.

If the American people fully understood how Democrats exploited the pandemic tragedy to push an extremist agenda, they would be outraged. But unless you’re watching Fox News or reading this daily report, you’re not going to know about it.

Leave Our Kids Alone!

Pink Floyd’s classic rock song “Another Brick in the Wall” may well become the conservative movement’s new anthem.

Speaking at a ceremony Wednesday honoring the “Teachers of the Year,” President Joe Biden sent chills down the spines of parents everywhere when he said:

“You’ve heard me say it many times about our children. But, it’s true. They’re all our children. And … you recognize that. They’re not someone else’s children. They’re like yours when they’re in the classroom.”

Wrong again, Joe! They ARE someone else’s children! And we don’t want our children being indoctrinated with left-wing garbage.

This is essentially what caused Democrats to lose so spectacularly in Virginia last year. Terry McAuliffe said parents shouldn’t have any say in what children are taught in school. Well, here we have the president saying the same thing.

The left thinks America is evil, “systemically racist” and riddled with white supremacy. They think half the country is made up of “deplorables” and “irredeemables.” So, of course, they can’t let that half of the country teach their children about values. They must “counterprogram” them.

“Hey! Teacher! Leave them kids alone!”

Biden’s Border Disaster

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas testified before Congress Wednesday. Many Republicans said it was the most shameful testimony ever delivered on Capitol Hill.

Mayorkas had the audacity to claim, “We will not lose operational control of the border… We have effectively managed an unprecedented number of noncitizens seeking to enter the United States.”

He’s gaslighting you. He said this with a straight face even as more than two million illegal aliens crossed our border last year, shattering all previous records. There’s no “control” over the border when two million people violate it!

And notice what he didn’t say. He didn’t say, “We effectively managed to stop the onslaught of illegal aliens who have no right to be here.”

That’s my goal. That’s your goal. But that’s not Biden’s goal. His goal is to make their illegal entry go as smoothly as possible with the least amount of disturbing images on your TV.

Biden’s “management” of the border is the exact opposite of what the American people want. The American people want secure borders. But Biden wants open borders and millions of illegal aliens efficiently distributed into every state, city and congressional district in America.

Mayorkas ought to be impeached ASAP. Several House conservatives have indicated that’s exactly what they intend to do if they’re in control of the House next year. But again, Mayorkas is only following Joe Biden’s orders, which are killing thousands of Americans.

Biden’s Ministry Of Truth

Secretary Mayorkas also dropped another bombshell in his testimony that should set off alarms everywhere. He announced the formation of a “Disinformation Governance Board” at the Department of Homeland Security that will be focused on “irregular migration and Russia,” and on combating disinformation aimed at minority communities.

This is insane!

We already know what they consider disinformation. Saying COVID originated in the Wuhan lab is disinformation. Saying a biological man cannot be a woman is disinformation. Saying the border is in chaos is disinformation. After all, the “borders are closed” and they’re being “effectively managed.”

But wait… There’s more!

The individual leading Biden’s new Ministry of Truth is Nina Jankowicz. Her background is very edifying. She is what some people might call a “Hunter Biden laptop denier.” When news of Hunter’s laptop broke in 2020, Jankowicz denounced it as a “Russian influence operation.”

So, the woman in charge of fighting disinformation helped to spread disinformation at a critical time during the last presidential election.

No doubt that’s exactly why she’s been awarded with this important new assignment by a grateful president, especially when he and his party can no longer rely on Twitter to do their dirty work for them!

Special Drugs For Kamala

Vice President Kamala Harris has COVID. She reportedly has a mild case with virtually no symptoms. But she is also taking the Pfizer pill, Paxlovid, which is meant to treat people who are at high risk of becoming seriously ill.

Why exactly is she taking it? Perhaps Democrats feel that her low approval ratings make her “high risk” on the campaign trail this year!
