If the COVID-19 pandemic proved anything, it proved that the United States is far too dependent on communist China for just about everything.

When we needed masks and personal protection equipment to fight the virus, we quickly discovered that virtually all of it was made in China. We discovered that many of our medicines comes from China.

But the problem of Chinese market manipulation and influence isn’t confined to what’s “made in China.” It turns out that communist Chinese companies are also buying massive amounts of U.S. farmland. And the growing number of acquisitions is happening while Biden sleeps.

During the Bush years, communist China bought fewer than 10 U.S. farms annually. That figure more than doubled during the Obama/Biden era. In 2013, the communist Chinese spent $4.7 billion to take over Smithfield Foods.

Last year, Texas officials took action to prevent a Chinese billionaire with connections to the Chinese Communist Party from connecting a wind farm to the state’s energy grid. The land he controls also happens to be near Laughlin Air Base.

One year ago yesterday, Politico reported that communist China controlled at least 192,000 acres of American farmland, and that Beijing’s “agricultural investments in other nations had grown more than tenfold since 2009.”

Most recently, communist Chinese companies have bought several farms in North Dakota that are just minutes away from a U.S. military base that is “home of some of the country’s most sophisticated military drone technology.” These purchases are causing concerned citizens and congressional Republicans to speak out.

There is a government agency, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), that is supposed to examine the dealings of foreign corporations in the United States for national security concerns.

Some will argue that CFIUS is primarily focused on technology transfers, not agriculture. Well, that’s precisely the point. Once again, we’re not adjusting to face emerging challenges.

Will someone in charge of protecting our security please wake up?!

The Authoritarian Left

For the moment, Sen. Joe Manchin is resisting the left’s latest big government socialist power grab that is masquerading as a solution to “climate change.” But that’s not stopping the Marxist authoritarians of the left. They want Joe Biden to impose these policies unilaterally without Congress.

There are serious reports coming out of the White House that Biden intends to declare a “climate emergency” sometime this week. They are pushing Biden to use emergency powers to further regulate American businesses and no doubt restrict your liberties.

Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer has been demanding this radical action for more than a year now. Other Senate Democrats are clear about their goal — they want to kill the American oil and natural gas industry, sending energy costs even higher.

Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey said he wants Biden to use a climate emergency order to “stop any additional drilling on public lands in our country.” Just to be clear, less oil drilling means less gasoline for your car. That means higher prices at the pump.

Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley said Monday, “There is probably nothing more important for our nation and our world than for the United States to drive a bold, energetic transition in its energy economy from fossil fuels to renewable energy.”

Well guess what, Senator Merkley? “Alternative” sources of “green energy” use oil, too!

Here’s one thing I can promise you: Whatever the White House does to dictate Biden’s “incredible transition” is guaranteed to fuel inflation and drive up your pain at the pump. As I have written many times before, your pain is Joe Biden’s plan.

What the left refuses to admit is that there is simply no “alternative” to oil and natural gas. Nuclear power could help, but the radical left won’t allow that either.

Just look at the situation in Europe right now. Our European allies are facing a “especially perilous” energy crisis of rationing and fuel shortages because they are worried Russia will cut off their supply of natural gas.

Sadly, the only “enemy” threatening our energy supply is not in Moscow, but the Oval Office!

Yet Another “Emergency”

While Biden ponders his next radical climate change actions, dozens of House Democrats are demanding that he declare a “public health emergency” because the Supreme Court dared to state the obvious — that there is no “right” to abortion in the Constitution.

Over the course of the pandemic, too many Americans, including too many pastors, caved into the abridgement of our liberties because, “It was an emergency.” But if we lose our constitutional freedoms when there is an emergency, the globalist and socialist left will always find another “emergency.”

As the Marxist left sees the November elections as a growing threat to its grip on power, we better buckle up. The “emergencies” will start multiplying like rabbits.

• California schools are forcing students to mask up again.

• There’s talk of a monkeypox emergency.

• Some leftist politicians are declaring racism a “public health emergency.”

This is all part of the globalist agenda to regulate away our rights and give big government more power, making the future for our children and grandchildren even more depressing.

Right now, farmers in multiple countries are fighting back against “climate change emergencies.” God bless them. But it’s going to take more than just farmers to stop this insanity.

Illegalities & Irregularities

For months, the left and its media allies have repeated the mantra that the 2020 election was the most secure election ever, and no one should dare to question the results or the process.

Well, the public clearly isn’t buying the left’s hype. A recent Rasmussen poll found that 52% of voters believe cheating impacted the results of the 2020 elections. Fifty-eight percent of voters are particularly concerned about the widespread use of “mail-in balloting.”

Has a majority of the country really bought into a hoax? Or is there something far more serious going on? A new report from investigative journalist John Solomon suggests it’s the latter.

Solomon has compiled a list of more than 20 examples of illegality and irregularity in the 2020 elections. We’ve reported on a number of these issues, such as the illegal Wisconsin drop boxes, illegal changes to state election laws and private foundations acting as quasi-government elections offices to drive liberal voter turnout.

In short, the 2020 election was a mess. By the way, there is no truth to the rumor that the Supreme Court is about to declare the 2020 election null and void and reinstate Donald Trump to the White House.

The only way to guarantee our freedom and liberty is to reform our election laws to ensure election integrity and ballot security. That’s going to require electing the right people to federal, state and local offices. That means every conservative must fully participate in the political process.

If you want to change the policies impacting your life, you must first change the politicians making those policies. If you want to save our country, you must vote!

As I have reported, we are making progress. Multiple states have banned so-called “Zuck bucks.” New York City was prevented from letting non-citizens vote in elections. States are cleaning up their voter rolls.

Of course, Democrats are fighting these election integrity measures as hard as they can. But none of this should be an excuse for not voting.

Giving in to despair and demoralization only guarantees one thing: Defeat.
