Here’s a little thought exercise. Imagine you’re getting ready to take a walk in a new neighborhood because you were curious about it. But someone comes running up to you, yelling, “Stop! Don’t do it! There are bad things there!”

How would you react? I think most of us would certainly think twice about taking another step.

Well, this is actually happening to us right now. Many people are yelling to us, “Stop! Don’t go down this road!”

Who is trying to warn us?

They’re Cubans who escaped Fidel Castro.

They’re Chinese Americans who watched their country sink into the hellhole of communism.

They’re Venezuelans who once lived in the most prosperous nation in South America, only to see Marxism destroy it.

They’re Europeans and others saying the same thing, “Don’t go down the socialist road, America!”

It happens to me frequently after I speak at an event. Someone will come up to me and tell me how they emigrated to America to escape oppression and enjoy freedom. But now they are increasingly fearful of what they are seeing in America today.

What are they desperately trying to warn us about? What do they see that so many Americans don’t?

Growing censorship and threats to free speech. Attacks on churches, Christianity and threats to religious liberty. Open borders, and the loss of national sovereignty. Massive growth in stifling, big government socialism and threats to liberty.

We’ve seen it just this week. On Sunday, Senate Democrats voted for 87,000 more IRS agents!

Monday, we watched the unthinkable — government agents raiding the home of a former president on the orders of the current administration. That’s the kind of thing that happens in “Banana Republics,” not in free America.

A recent poll found that 79% of Americans believe there are two standards of justice in America, one for powerful elites and another for the common man — just like in foreign dictatorships.

Wake up, my friends! The warnings are all around us.

But unlike the Cubans, Chinese and Venezuelans, if we lose our freedoms there’s nowhere else to run.

He Did It Again

Donald Trump’s endorsed candidates swept race after race in key primary elections Tuesday night. Trump’s endorsement record is now 192-11.

In the closely watched GOP primary for governor of Wisconsin, Trump’s endorsed candidate, businessman and former Army Ranger Tim Michels, won handily.

In the Connecticut Senate primary, Leora Levy, whose parents fled communist Cuba, easily prevailed after Trump endorsed her just last week.

No one thought this was going to be a competitive race. Everyone expected a more moderate, traditional New England Republican to win hands down.

But as the results started coming in from small towns and villages across Connecticut, the numbers were overwhelming for Levy. That may well be an indication of what could happen if Trump runs again in 2024.

Several commentators are suggesting that Trump’s endorsed candidates may have overperformed precisely because of Monday’s raid at Mar-a-Lago, which drove infuriated conservatives to the polls.

Trump scored another win Tuesday when pro-impeachment Republican Jamie Herrera Beutler conceded to former Green Beret Joe Kent in Washington’s Third Congressional District.

Rally Around The Nominee

As Trump candidates continue to run up the score, the GOP establishment, some right-leaning commentators and media outlets are whining and complaining. “Trump candidates can’t win,” they insist. “They’re too this or too that,” they claim.

For decades the donor wing and the GOP establishment pushed candidates on us that most conservatives did not particularly like. They said, “We understand that you’re upset, but you don’t want a liberal Democrat to win, do you? It’s time to rally around the nominee to ensure that we’re all united on Election Day.”

They did that with John McCain. They did that with Mitt Romney. They did that with a slew of moderate Senate candidates.

But whenever a conservative unexpectedly prevailed, the people who told us to “get in line” often did things to blow up the election. Then, they would wag their fingers, saying, “See, your guys can’t win.”

This establishment carping is getting louder and louder, and to me it’s like nails on a chalkboard!

My message to them is simple: “Stop whining! You don’t want leftist socialists to win, do you? It’s time to rally around our nominees!”

Raid Fallout

More information is coming out about the outrageous and unprecedented raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. Consider these facts:

• The head of the FBI’s Detroit office during the Whitmer fiasco was promoted in October of 2020 to a top position in the FBI’s Washington, D.C., headquarters. He’s playing a major role in the January 6th proceedings. Did he have any role in the raid on Mar-a-Lago?

• We now know that when Biden’s politicized FBI entered Trump’s home, they ordered his lawyers and advisers who were there to leave so no one could observe what the FBI agents were doing. For this and other reasons, several legal experts have expressed serious questions about the legality of the raid.

• If kicking his lawyers out wasn’t suspicious enough, how about this: The FBI demanded that Mar-a-Lago’s security cameras be turned off. Don’t they know “Democracy dies in darkness”?

• FBI agents were inside the house for more than nine hours. Reportedly, they also went through Melania Trump’s clothes! Did Jill Biden need some new outfits?

• Donald Trump has expressed concerns, justifiably in my view, that Biden’s politicized FBI may have planted something while they were there.

• Rep. Scott Perry, a close Trump ally and chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, was stopped Tuesday by three FBI agents who demanded that he surrender his cell phone. What’s next — GOP members of Congress being snatched off the streets?

Election Meddling

This is now the third election in a row where elements of the FBI acted like a private army against conservatives and Donald Trump.

(If you’re an elected Republican at any level who hasn’t figured this out yet, you need to seek counseling. If you are still in denial now, you need help.)

In 2016, the FBI directly aided the Hillary Clinton campaign. It willingly accepted and used the fake Russia dossier to smear Trump. And it continued to do so after the election to destroy his presidency. It is now clear that this was all a manufactured hoax, an outrageous lie meant to overturn the election.

As a reminder, fired FBI Director James Comey bragged about the fact that he sent FBI agents to the Trump White House to interview General Michael Flynn under false pretenses in order to prosecute the president’s national security adviser!

Meanwhile, one of the leading hoax operatives — Jake Sullivan — is working inside the White House today as Joe Biden’s national security adviser. What message do you think that sends to wannabe Deep State hacks about what they can get away with?

In 2020, the vast complex of retired national security officials, with the help of the FBI and Big Tech sensors, quashed the Hunter Biden laptop story.

That by itself means the left cheated in the 2020 election. It made a huge difference in the outcome.

The Hunter Biden laptop essentially fell into the FBI’s lap. But they did nothing with it. Just like the fake Russian dossier, the FBI accepted the left-wing lies that the laptop was “Russian disinformation.”

Obviously, our counterintelligence “experts” at the FBI are either corrupt or incompetent. Neither explanation is acceptable.

So, here we are just 90 days before the 2022 election and what may be our last chance to restrain the radical left. And the FBI raids the home of the most important figure in the Republican Party.

Three elections in a row and always on the side of the left.

This is unacceptable in a constitutional Republic! The political hacks in the FBI must be held accountable and removed from the Bureau.

This is so blatantly obvious! But too many Americans are like the frog sitting in the boiling pot.

No, Mr. Bezos, democracy does not die in darkness. It dies in broad daylight, in full view of those who are kept ignorant by the lying, fake news media.

Still Rising

In spite of the White House’s bizarre spin, the July inflation report is nothing to celebrate. Yes, inflation dipped slightly (from 9.1% to 8.5%). But that doesn’t mean prices have stopped raising.

They’re still going up, as anyone who has been to the grocery store lately knows all too well. They’re just increasing a bit more slowly, and your paychecks are still shrinking.
