Joe Biden has blood on his hands. Five people were shot and killed in Texas this weekend. The media immediately blamed the carnage on the gun — an AR-15.

What most media reports are not telling you is that the murderer is an illegal alien who has been deported FIVE TIMES before. But thanks to Biden’s open borders policies, five residents of Cleveland, Texas, are now dead.

Of course, it’s far worse than that. More than 100,000 Americans died from drug overdoses last year. Most of those deaths were caused by fentanyl poisoning, which is pouring across Biden’s wide-open border in record numbers, along with illegal aliens and suspected terrorists.

Biden’s open border policies are deadly, and even Democrat mayors of so-called “sanctuary cities” are complaining about the growing crisis.

Biden’s Bank Failures

First Republic Bank failed over the weekend. JP Morgan has agreed to take it over.

That means that three of the four biggest bank failures in history have all occurred under Biden’s watch — First Republic Bank, Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank.

And that’s before we go through a major economic downturn, which many experts are predicting in the coming months.

Biden Celebrates Censorship

You likely missed this over the weekend, but Joe Biden was gloating over Tucker Carlson’s demise at Fox News.

Speaking at the White House Correspondents Dinner Saturday night, Biden talked about vaccinations, transforming the economy and the midterm results, and said, “But the job isn’t finished. I mean, it’s finished for Tucker Carlson.”

There were audible gasps and boos from the audience of journalists. It’s not clear whether they were booing Carlson or Biden. But Biden clearly thought they were booing him. “What are you booing about? You think that’s not reasonable? Give me a break,” he said.

Think about for a moment. The president of the United States is celebrating the censorship of one of the leading conservative voices in America. That begs the question: How much pressure was the White House putting on the Murdoch family to silence Tucker?

Courage Comes In All Sizes

There is no doubt that we live in difficult and challenging times. Bizarre things — insane things — are happening almost every day. All of us are being tested these days.

Some react with great courage. Some are hesitant. Many of us are somewhere in between. But I’ll say this: Even if we elect a president we like in 2024, that president alone will not save us.

If there is one thing Joe Biden and I do agree on, it is this: We are in a battle for the heart and soul of America. And in this battle to define our country, we all need courage. Here’s a story that I hope will encourage you.

Twelve year-old Liam Morrison was recently kicked out of his gym class at Nichols Middle School in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Why? Because he had the courage to wear a shirt stating an undeniable scientific fact. The shirt read: “There are only two genders.”

Liam was told that his shirt was making some students feel “unsafe.” He was ordered to change his shirt. Liam stood his ground, and was sent home.

But Liam didn’t give up. He had the courage to address the school board a couple of weeks ago. He said:

“I was told my shirt was targeting a protected class. Who is this protected class? Are their feelings more important than my rights? I don’t complain when I see Pride flags and diversity posters hung throughout the school. Do you know why? Because others have a right to their beliefs, just as I do.”

Kudos to Liam Morrison for having the courage to stand up for his rights and for the truth! I pray his courage is contagious.

Now, here’s my challenge to parents and pastors: Are we going to let our children lead us?

Or are we going to protect our children by fighting back with every ounce of courage and strength we have against the leftist insanity that’s sweeping America?

I know what I am going to do, and I hope and pray you will stand with me in this fight for the heart and soul of America!

Alito Speaks

Justice Samuel Alito recently sat down for an interview with the Wall Street Journal. In the interview, he made two really significant statements.

First, Alito said he’s got a “pretty good idea who is responsible” for leaking his draft of the Dobbs opinion. Sadly, there wasn’t enough evidence for the court to make a formal accusation.

But the more dramatic thing Justice Alito said is that he has no doubt why the draft was leaked.

“It was part of an effort to prevent the Dobbs draft … from becoming the decision of the court,” Alito said, adding that it was “part of the campaign to try to intimidate the court.”

It was done to set off exactly what happened — a round of threats and intimidation aimed at the conservative justices.

“It was rational for people to believe that they might be able to stop the decision … by killing one of us,” Alito said. As we know, a would-be assassin did travel to Washington, D.C., planning to kill three justices. Fortunately, he was stopped outside of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home.

Alito is now being driven around in what he described as “a tank” and cannot go anywhere unless he is accompanied by a security detail. What a sad commentary on where we are in America today because of the unhinged left.

The Biden Administration encouraged the violence and intimidation when it failed to enforce the law against demonstrations outside the homes of federal judges.

And the demonstrations have continued into this year. The left is still trying to intimidate the justices, denying them a normal life, hoping to intimidate one of the older conservative justices into retiring. (See next item.)

This brings us to a larger fact that Republicans must address. Left-wing politicians, who constantly accuse conservatives of being “haters,” are empowering and encouraging hate when they look the other way as their stormtroopers do their dirty work.

Leftist mobs are disrupting dinners and shouting down conservative speakers. They are setting churches on fire. If hundreds of mosques were being burned down, Biden would declare a national emergency. He would be lecturing us 24/7 to “stop attacking Islam.”

The left is physically attacking pregnancy resource centers and pro-life organizations, while leftist governors are trying to shut them down with bogus accusations of “deceptive advertising.”

When leftist groups riot, demonstrate and issue death threats, they are working hand-in-hand with leftist politicians who never condemn these groups and never accuse them of “threatening democracy.”

Undermining The Court

I recently told you about yet another left-wing effort to smear Justice Clarence Thomas, this time with false accusations that he inappropriately took gifts and vacations from a billionaire businessman. The businessman in question is a personal friend, and Thomas was under no legal obligation to report anything.

Well, Thomas isn’t the only justice to come under such scrutiny. Days later, Politico ran a hit piece about Justice Neil Gorsuch’s real estate deals. Then, Friday afternoon, another media hatchet job appeared. This time the target was Jane Roberts, wife of Chief Justice John Roberts.

Do you see a pattern here? The “lamestream” media’s sudden interest in Supreme Court ethics only extends to the court’s conservative justices. Its liberal members are off limits.

On cue, Democrat politicians began attacking the credibility of the Supreme Court. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, demanded that Chief Justice Roberts testify before his committee. Roberts refused.

In response to this relentless pressure campaign, all nine justices issued a rare unanimous statement on the ethical principles and practices that they adhere to.

The justices concluded by reminding their critics of the “increased threats to personal safety” that the justices are now facing because of the left’s intolerance.

Late last year, the Washington Post ran a story bashing the Supreme Court for its low approval ratings, which the Post attributed to the court’s “sharp turn to the right.” (I don’t recall the Washington Post blaming Joe Biden’s low approval ratings on his “sharp turn to the left,” but I digress.)

The Supreme Court is one of three co-equal branches of government, and it’s legitimacy is constantly being attacked by progressive politicians and their left-wing media allies.

They’re telling Americans that the court is taking away their rights, that it wants women to be second-class citizens, etc., etc. It’s a constant drumbeat.

And it is setting the stage for the left to fundamentally transform the court by packing it with more left-wing activists or for the left to openly defy the court the next time it issues a major decision progressives don’t like.

Now compare that to how conservatives react when the court does something we don’t like.

In 2015, five liberal justices overturned thousands of years of culture and history, as well as the votes of the people in more than 30 states who defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

There were no conservative protests in the streets or at the homes of liberal justices. No one tried to assassinate Justice Anthony Kennedy, who wrote that decision. No conservative senator called for packing the court with extra conservative justices.

Most Republicans initially expressed their dismay at the decision, and, as the weeks and months went by, they acquiesced to the court’s ruling.

Thus, the Washington Post can claim that when liberals control the court, people love it. But when conservatives hold the majority, respect for the court plummets.

That’s largely explained by the huge difference in how the left and the right react to decisions they disagree with. When a liberal majority attacks our values, we shrug and move on. The public decides it must not be a big deal because we aren’t expressing outrage.

But when a conservative majority follows the Constitution, the left goes crazy and it keeps up the drumbeat.

When are we going to wake up and start playing this game the same way our opponents play it? There’s no gold star for Republicans who play nice.
