A Fourth of July Victory

Judge Terry A. Doughty issued an injunction temporarily preventing White House officials from meeting with tech companies to advance censorship on social media.

Americans across the country found multiple ways to celebrate the momentous event that took place on July 4, 1776 at Independence Hall. But one federal judge may have done more to honor the Declaration of Independence and our Founders than anyone else. Here’s the “rocket” he fired across the bow of the Biden/Harris regime.

U.S. District Court Judge Terry A. Doughty issued an injunction temporarily preventing White House officials from meeting with tech companies to advance censorship on social media. The ruling came in response to lawsuits filed by the Louisiana and Missouri attorneys general that allege the Biden Administration coerced tech companies to suppress speech during COVID-19.

The judge used language that will encourage every patriot and frustrate every tyrant. Read this and cheer!

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, a period perhaps best characterized by widespread doubt and uncertainty, the United States Government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian ‘Ministry of Truth,’” Doughty wrote.

“If the allegations made by Plaintiffs are true, the present case arguably involves the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history,” the injunction adds. “In their attempts to suppress alleged disinformation, the Federal Government, and particularly the Defendants named here, are alleged to have blatantly ignored the First Amendment’s right to free speech.”

Judge Doughty noted that the censorship virtually always targeted conservative speech. But he added the issues at stake were bigger than “party lines.” The judge’s words were a fist in the mouth of the wannabe tyrants who dominate the political and techno left in America.

His temporary injunction bars several federal officials, including HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, from communicating with social media companies to suppress speech. He also restricted employees of the FBI and Justice Department.

Okay, time for some caveats. This is one brave U.S. district court judge. Our “compromised” Justice Department is planning their counter-attack as I write. The case will be appealed and appealed and appealed. It’s likely to end up in front of “The Supremes.” That will take time. In the meantime, the “long knives” will come out for Judge Doughty. He should take steps to secure his and his family’s safety. He just struck a blow for liberty and tyrants always strike back.

“Snow” At The White House

No, not that snow. Cocaine was discovered in the “people’s house” on Sunday. A hazmat team was brought in which forced a brief evacuation of the White House. The substance was discovered by a Secret Service agent who found the powder during a routine “sweep” of the premises.

It’s a mystery how the dangerous drug got through security into the West Wing, not far from the Oval Office, Cabinet Room, and the press briefing room. President Biden and his son Hunter were both at Camp David at the time of the discovery. Given Hunter’s unfortunate addiction to cocaine, well-documented on the “Hunter Biden laptop,” the discovery of the drug in the West Wing raised eyebrows.

I am sure we will be told soon that the drug was planted there as part of a Russian disinformation campaign. A letter signed by a thousand national security officials to that effect is probably circulating now. I jest, of course.

Seriously, in one month we have experienced perverts dancing topless on the White House lawn just feet from Biden and Harris and now “coke” lying around in the West Wing. Our journey from “shining city on a hill” to Babylon seems to be accelerating.

The lack of major press attention to this is telling. There should be a serious investigation now. If it is possible to bring cocaine into the White House then it is possible to bring ricin or a biological agent into the White House. There are security cameras everywhere. It shouldn’t be that difficult to determine the culprit.

One final thought. Can you possibly imagine the level of media meltdown, chest-thumping and heads exploding there would be if this had happened under Trump/Pence?

Hating America On The 4th

While millions of Americans were celebrating the American Republic, many on the left continued their “hate fest” for all things red, white and blue. The “America was never great” crowd was out in force.

Ben and Jerry, of ice cream fame, issued a tweet with the catchy title, “The U.S. Was Founded on Stolen Indigenous Land. This Fourth of July, Let’s Commit to Returning It.” They then, helpfully, suggested we start with Mount Rushmore which they want returned to the Sioux.

Here’s an inconvenient factoid. According to researchers in Israel, the Ben & Jerry’s headquarters is located in Vermont on land originally owned by the Abenaki Native American tribe. Descendants of the tribe are still alive. Ben & Jerry should immediately pay them reparations. No justice — no peace!
