Could a Movie Derail Hillary Clinton for Good?
"13 Hours" is the story of Benghazi from the eyes of those on the ground.

Retrieved Emails Show Top Clinton Aide Prioritized Advertising Design over the Deaths of U.S. Personnel in Benghazi
As noted above, this week the State Department Office of Inspector General report confirms that the State Department under Hillary Clinton knowingly violated the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by hiding Hillary Clinton's emails and the emails of her top staff — including Cheryl Mills. What was the Clinton gang trying to hide?

No Cindy Sheehan-Style Media Attention for Benghazi Victim's Father
For partisan Democrats, when the word "Benghazi" comes up, the sophisticated thing to do is roll your eyes. If the name Charles Woods comes up, the normal thing to do is say, "Who?" So let's talk about Cindy Sheehan for a moment instead. Remember her? For a while, she was the Joan of Arc of the antiwar left. The mother of a U.S. Army specialist killed in Iraq, Sheehan held a vigil outside President George W. Bush's ranch, demanding to meet with him so she could denounce the war to his face.

Hillary Says Relatives of Benghazi Heroes Are Liars
Our news media are so overwhelmingly obsequious to the Democrats that Hillary Clinton can imply the relatives of the Americans killed in Benghazi are liars on national TV, and no one in the press blinks an eye or finds it newsworthy. ABC is about to host another one of those hide-and-seek Saturday night Democrat debates. There is something very ironic here: It was on this network where she made that outrageous statement.

Obama's Jail Break
Over the weekend, 6,000 so-called "non-violent criminals" were released from federal prisons, part of the Obama administration's efforts to relax sentences for non-violent drug offenders. An additional 8,500 prisoners may be deemed eligible for early release next year. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. Administration officials estimate that as many as 46,000 prisoners may have their sentences reduced over the next few years, leading to what one report called "the biggest prisoner release in U.S. history."

The media should pursue facts and go where they lead.

Skip the Investigations, Win the Election
At a certain point, you have to realize you can't hit a fastball. House Republicans don't quite get that they are hopeless at oversight hearings. They keep losing — and now the chairman of the House Oversight Committee has just introduced articles of impeachment against IRS Commissioner John Koskinen. I'm sympathetic to the GOP motive, given how the Obama IRS has consistently obstructed and misled Congress in the tax-exemption scandal. But impeachment is no ordinary move. No agency chief or Cabinet officer has been impeached since 1876. And even proponents admit that there is no chance of Koskinen being removed from office because the Senate will never convict.

The Gowdy Committee as Seen from the Left and the Right
We are told that our political system here in Washington is "broken." The left and the right do not get along, and usually it is because the right is obdurately partisan. Actually, it is not the political system that is broken. It is much wider than the political system. It is the political culture, that is to say: the politicians, the operatives, the financial supporters and the voters (left and right). It is also the commentators, the reporters, the editors; in a word the media (left and right). The left-wing press sees things one way and reports on it. The right-wing press sees things differently and reports on it. Neither side agrees on almost anything.

Hillary Won. America Lost
The narrative following Hillary's testimony at Congress' recent Benghazi hearing is clear: Hillary won. She (for the most part) calmly answered all the questions. She nodded approvingly when the Democrats on the committee accused Republicans of engaging in a partisan witch-hunt.

New State Documents Show Quick White House Effort to Link Benghazi to Internet Video
Even as the Benghazi Committee has its first major hearing three years after the attack, it is clear that the Benghazi scandal is worsening, not receding. Just as Hillary Clinton prepared to testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi, Judicial Watch uncovered documents that raise more questions about the September 11, 2012, terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission at Benghazi, Libya. The documents show the White House contacted YouTube over an Internet video as one of its first moves after the initial attack.

No, Hillary Didn't Care About Chris Stevens
Last week, the media hailed Hillary Clinton's supposed political triumph at a hearing of the House Select Committee on Benghazi concerning the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2012 that ended in the murder of four Americans, including American ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens. Clinton appeared calm and collected, even as she lied repeatedly:

Hillary's 'Victory Lap' of Lies
To hear the media tell it, Hillary Clinton came to Capitol Hill as a bullfighter and easily killed the angry bulls of the House Benghazi committee. The "mainstream" media wondered why these crazy Republicans would "walk into the trap" of trying to scrutinize and question a media darling.

Clinton Paying a Price Now for Her 2012 Lies About Benghazi
Nothing new there. Nothing to see here. Time to move on for good. That was the attitude of most in the mainstream media to the 11-hour questioning of Hillary Clinton by the House Select Committee on Benghazi. It was not the prevailing attitude, as I remember, toward the hearings of the Senate Watergate Committee or the impeachment debate at the House Judiciary Committee (on whose staff Clinton served) 40-something years ago.

Who's More Shameful, Hillary or Her Media Protectors?
Isn't it just great that the liberal establishment views Hillary Clinton's testimony in the Benghazi hearings in terms of performance art rather than substance? That's the liberals' way of telling you how much they value integrity. It would be one thing if the mainstream liberal media said, "Clinton got caught red-handed in a number of lies, and not just on insignificant matters but on very important ones, but overall she held up well under pressure, and because of her performance, the hearings may actually be a net plus for her."

Hillary Clinton: No New Lies Equals a Victory?
There is not a scintilla of doubt that Hillary Clinton knowingly lied to the American public about Benghazi. "Two of our officers were killed in Benghazi by an Al Queda-like [sic] group," Clinton wrote in an email to her daughter at 11:12 pm. Sept 11, 2012. "We know the attack had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack, not a protest ... Based on the information we saw today, we believe that the group that claimed responsibility for this was affiliated with al-Qaeda," she told Egyptian prime minister Hisham Kandil that same night. "There is a gun battle ongoing, which I understand Ansar as-Sharia [sic] is taking responsibility for," she told the Libyan president while the attack was going on.

Hillary Escapes Again
A special House committee investigating the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012 that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans may have helped Hillary Clinton become president of the United States. The former secretary of state refused an invitation to testify in private, as other witnesses had done, probably because she thought her appearance would benefit her presidential prospects in at least three ways: She could make the Republican committee members look inept; the major media would protect her, and average people would not pay attention; if they did, they would believe what the media told them. She was right on all three counts.
