Who will defend Donald Trump in his Senate trial if the House passes articles of impeachment, and how? That's the question posed by former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan in the Wall Street Journal, who says Trump will face "charges almost everyone will believe are true." Does any Republican think that President Trump would not do what the witnesses say he did? Or are Republicans willing to concede the facts, but simply deny they merit impeachment and removal from office. Perhaps Senate Republicans should hire Bill Whittle.
