A Bittersweet Week — Celebration and Farewell

A family celebration and a solemn farewell…

Patriots, this week included a family celebration and a solemn farewell. Sunday, we gathered for the marriage of our oldest son Mac to his sweet bride Rebecca. They have a month together before his Marine Battalion deploys. Today, I am away bidding a final farewell to a close friend and Patriot brother, fellow Medal of Honor Heritage Center board member Tony Mines. Tony served in the Mekong Delta as an E5 with the Ninth Infantry. Please pray for his family as we say goodbye to this honorable and faithful servant.

Today especially, I ask that you join me in prayer for our nation, especially for Patriots in uniform — Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen — standing in harm’s way in defense of Liberty, and for their families.

Standing watch for me today is our columnist Stephen Moore with a look at how the middle income families are doing, thanks in large measure to the Trump administration’s economic policies. Read Stephen’s analysis and all the web’s best conservative columnists on our Right Opinion page, and as always, with no obnoxious advertising distractions because our publications are certified “ad-free”!
