The Terrorists Are Inside the Gates
Tens of thousands of suspected or confirmed international terrorists have been identified within the borders of the United States.
The U.S. has the geopolitical benefit of being a country separated by large oceans. Unfortunately, this natural advantage against foreign enemies was lessened when President Joe Biden left the southern border fecklessly wide open and allowed millions of illegal aliens to flood into our nation.
When you allow in millions of military-age men without so much as counting their numbers, you are facilitating an invasion against your own countrymen. In fact, according to National Counterterrorism Center (NCC) Director Joe Kent, testifying before the House Homeland Security Committee on December 11, “The Number One threat that we have right now in my view is the fact that we don’t know who came into our country in the last four years of Biden’s open borders.”
The NCC has identified 18,000 confirmed or suspected terrorists who entered under Biden — a number that will inevitably grow. Of those identified terrorists, 2,000 were flown in directly as part of Biden’s airlift operations in Afghanistan, a country from which he recklessly surrendered and retreated.
The terrorist who recently killed one National Guardsman and wounded another in Washington, DC, is a prime example. This jihadist, who was working with the CIA in Afghanistan, was brought stateside by the Biden administration under the auspices that he had been vetted. Not well enough, evidently. The result was two shot-up service members in our nation’s capital.
The NCC’s 18,000 figure is an underestimate of how many terrorists are actually in the U.S. The most alarming thing about jihad is that, once the radical teachings of Islam get a foothold in mosques, it leads to more and more homegrown terrorism, such as the teenage terrorists from New Jersey and Michigan who were planning to shoot up an LGBTQ+ club near Detroit. They were, thankfully, arrested.
This Democrat-engendered dangerous situation is likely going to become even more serious as we approach the World Cup in June and America’s 250th anniversary celebration in July. Nevertheless, some Democrats refuse to articulate the seriousness of Islamic jihad. During the aforementioned House Homeland Security Committee meeting, Democrat Bennie G. Thompson had the audacity to call the murderous attack against the National Guardsmen in DC an “unfortunate accident.”

Such callousness should cause anyone who hears to shiver in horror. How could anyone, let alone an elected official, try to justify an attack committed by a veritable terrorist who shouted “Allahu Akbar”? We could attribute such callousness to stupidity, but in this case, it’s also malice in the form of partisan hackery, all to deflect blame from Joe Biden and his Democrat henchmen.
Finally, keep in mind that while Islamists are plotting terrorist attacks, so are bad actors from China, Iran, and elsewhere who entered the U.S. alongside those from the Middle East. One thing is clear: The government has its work cut out for it.
In the meantime, we need to hold the Democrats’ feet to the fire. They were accomplices to the invasion and actively denied that the border was open during the Biden administration. They need to own the consequences of their actions.
