More than a hundred individuals, the majority of which worked as first responders in New York City, were caught orchestrating a massive scam in the Big Apple that pocketed the group at least $400 million in faux disability claims over more than two decades. For a government that seemingly knows your every move, they're awfully lax about preventing beneficiary fraud.
