ObamaCare Enrollment to Begin
It’s another year and once again the government is trying to get more people enrolled in ObamaCare. This year will be more subdued than the buildup and implosion of last year’s multi-million dollar FAIL called Healthcare.gov. The government has a smaller advertising budget and the website has got a redesign. This enrollment period comes with mounting political pressure to revise the “Affordable” Care Act because one of its authors admitted lying to America. “Those enrollment efforts will play out as GOP lawmakers consider their prospects for repealing parts of the health law while also making a symbolic bid to repeal all of it,” The Wall Street Journal reports. “Sen. Jerry Moran (R., Kan.) predicted there would be enough Senate votes next year to eliminate a medical-device tax, a provision defining the workweek as 30 hours, and the requirement that large employers offer coverage or pay a fee. ‘Almost every Republican and many Democrats would hope to eliminate a portion of that law,’ he said.” Oh, the new Congress has a lot of good work to do.
