This just in from the Religion of Peace™: Abdullah Jamal, a student a student at a military-run school in Peshawar, Pakistan, was learning first aid from a group of military medics when a group of gunmen – reports range from six to 10 – wearing suicide vests burst into the school, killing at least 141 people and injuring scores more. “Then I saw children falling down who were crying and screaming. I also fell down. I learned later that I have got a bullet,” Jamal told the Associated Press. The Pakistani Taliban took credit for the attack. The group’s spokesman, Muhammad Umar Khorasani, told the media, “We selected the army’s school for the attack because the government is targeting our families and females. We want them to feel the pain.” He added, “Our suicide bombers have entered the school, they have instructions not to harm the children, but to target the army personnel.” This is only cruel rhetoric. They don’t care about the children; they don’t care about women. The Pakistani military tweets that they killed six of the attackers, but military response is slow, as the terrorists planted IEDs in the school. More…

Update: In a statement on the attack, Barack Obama didn’t even mention the word “Taliban,” much less Islam, Muslim or jihad.
