Obama’s Response to ISIL Is Unpopular
According to a new CNN/ORC poll, 57% of Americans disagree with how Barack Obama has handled the rise of the ISIL in Iraq, Syria and Libya. Overall, Obama’s approval rating is down when it comes to matters of national security, the poll finds, as 60% of the respondents said Obama is mishandling cyber security and 54% say Obama is bungling the nation’s response of terrorism in general. Granted, a leader’s effectiveness isn’t measured by how popular he is. But Obama has been performing his job of leader of Team America, World Police as enthusiastically as the teen dishing out fast food fries.
