Biden Is Coming for Your ‘AR-14’!
“Don’t tell me that, pal, or I’m going to go out and slap you in the face.”
Joe Biden is the gift that keeps on giving. Campaigning in Michigan, he paused for a photo-op with a group of construction workers — and that quickly broke bad. Biden bad.
When a young plant worker, Jerry Wayne, asked Biden about “trying to end the Second Amendment,” Biden spun out of control, telling Wayne, “You’re full of s—t. … I support the Second Amendment.” A female campaign aid tried to intervene, but Biden condescendingly commanded, “Shush! Shush!”
Biden then clarified, sort of, that he wasn’t coming for all your guns, but he was just “going to take your AR-14s away.” (Yes, “AR-14s.”)
Recall that at a recent rally to “celebrate” Beto O'Rourke’s endorsement, Biden declared, “I’m going to guarantee this is not the last you’ve seen of this guy. You’re going to take care of the gun problem with me. You’re going to be the one who leads this effort.” And recall that O'Rourke outlined his plan “to take care of the gun problem” last September: “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.” When Biden was asked earlier in a CNN interview about “Democrats coming for your guns,” he responded, “Bingo. You’re right if you have an assault weapon … period.”
According to Wayne, who did not vote for Trump in 2016, it was Biden’s assertion about putting O'Rourke in charge that disturbed him: “I just had a question that needed to be answered” about what Biden “calls assault rifles.” He wanted Biden to clarify “how he wanted to get the vote of the working man when a lot of us … bear arms and we like to do that.”
When Wayne insisted that Biden’s efforts to infringe on the Second Amendment were “not OK,” Biden snapped back, “Don’t tell me that, pal, or I’m going to go out and slap you in the face. I’m gonna go outside with you in a minute.” Wayne, who could have tipped Biden over with one finger, showed great self-control as Biden wagged his finger in his face.
Wayne told Biden, “You’re working for me, man.” Biden responded, “I’m not working for you. Give me a break, man. Don’t be such a horse’s ass.”
After the Trump campaign highlighted the demented exchange, New York Times writer Jonathan Martin, a Biden sycophant, gleefully exclaimed, “Why on earth is the Trump Campaign sending this out? Do they think this makes Biden look bad? People are going to love this.” And indeed, leftists like Martin will love it. Martin concluded that this was an “earthy Biden encounter” — you know, kinda like telling a young New Hampshire woman who asked him a question, “You’re a lying, dog-faced pony soldier.”
Finally, at one point Biden says his sons “hunt” — implying that the Second Amendment is about protecting hunters. Perhaps Biden meant his son Hunter Biden bagged a lot of Burisma bucks!
Over the last four years, the Leftmedia talkingheads have speculated frequently about Donald Trump’s “mental competence” and whether the 25th Amendment regarding incapacitated presidents should be invoked to remove him from office. But in fact, Joe Biden is increasingly non compos mentis. On the outside chance that Biden is elected president, questions about the 25th Amendment would take on a whole different level of legitimacy (but never be asked). Or maybe the Democrat strategy is that Biden will resign within a month of taking office and turn the office over to his VP?
