Thank You, Mr. President?

Another Democrat praised President Donald Trump. She now faces censure.

Michigan State Rep. Karen Whitsett was caught on camera at the White House a few weeks ago thanking the president for playing a role in saving her life by bringing hydroxychloroquine (HQ) to the forefront. Now, she faces censure by the Democrat Party for showing gratitude to President Donald Trump.

“Thank you, Mr. President,” Whitsett said. “Thank you, Mr. Vice President. I just can’t say how wonderful it is to see your face, and thank you for everything that you have done. I did not know that saying thank you had a political line. I didn’t know that. I thought just saying thank you meant thank you and I do — I sincerely appreciate that. Because had you not brought this to the forefront of the HQ of being able to put this out here, I wouldn’t be here today to even have this conversation with you and to be able to talk about the needs of Detroit and talk about the people who really need this, and they need help.”

Something her mother taught her to do as a child — thanking someone when they do something for her — has gotten her thrown in political hot fish grease with the jackass party. Go figure.

According to The Washington Times, Michigan Democrats reportedly plan to censure the state lawmaker who met with President Trump and expressed support and thanked him and his administration for their endorsement of hydroxychloroquine as a coronavirus treatment.

Censure her words? This sounds so progressive.

“What a joke, "Donald Trump Jr. tweeted. "Remember folks, the narrative can only be used against Trump and if you break those rules the left will turn on their own.”

Whitsett blasted Michigan Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer for attempting to “silence” her. But Jonathan Kinloch, the chairman of the Democratic Party Organization in Michigan’s 13th U.S. Congressional District, exclaimed, “At the end of the day, we have political systems. We have political parties and political parties exist for a reason!”

Is it me, or does this sound borderline demonic.

“Why they would [expel] me is beyond words for me,” said Whitsett. “This is something that I did not expect. I started out with a simple ‘thank you’ to the man who is the president of the United States. It’s a thank you. I didn’t know that ‘thank you’ had a political line.”

Gov. Whitmer wasn’t concerned about Whitsett’s health or her life. She was concerned how to spin her positive experience as a negative for President Trump. Whitsett is not going to be canceled. She will stand for what is right in the face of her liberal enemies.

“I’m not going to stand by and be quiet, nor will I be silenced by anyone when it comes to the people in my community. I don’t care who it is,” Whitsett said. “If you’re not doing right by us, if you’re not doing right by [black people] within our community, I’m going to stand up, and I don’t care who it is. I’m going to stand up against you.”

You go girl!

American liberalism has reached abysmal lows. Getting bullied for being grateful for being alive and saying “thank you” to the president of the United States of America is against the “rules.” There is a curse in our land and it’s slowly imploding from within the Democrat Party progressives. Take your children by the hand and pray for this nation. God bless America.
