As we go to press, the results of the election are still up in the air. Every argument has been made, every ballot has been cast, and we wait while ballots are counted. Maybe by the time you read this, the final outcome may be known. But this is 2020, so nothing is normal and all bets are off.

Having said that, I believe either way our country is going to go through a difficult time. If Trump wins, leftists have promised they will not take it laying down. Why would they? The anarchists and racists took a break before the election (well, almost) because it wasn’t polling well for Democrats. It was not because of all the damage and destruction and the loss of life and property. It was because of the polls!

Therefore, if Trump wins by anything but a huge RED WAVE (and he can’t possibly exceed his 2016 victory), expect leftists to react like they always do when they don’t win. They’ll claim they were cheated by … whatever pops into their minds. It never occurs to them the majority of our population still embraces freedoms like free speech, the right to defend ourselves, and having a job to provide for our families. The list is long and freedom-loving Americans will work to defend them.

I found it amusing the Left and media (but I repeat myself) were constantly hyperventilating whether Trump would accept the results of the election if he lost. They’re the ones who have never accepted the results of the last election. And why they seem to go back to Hillary Clinton and ask her opinion, I’ll never know. She’s never accepted the results.

A few weeks ago, Hillary and Bill (sitting behind her) were interviewed about the upcoming election. When Hillary went off on her “Russian collusion” rant and said the Russians were doing it again, the look on Bill’s face was priceless. His face seemed to say, Really? You’re still going to stick with that excuse? Only the true “believers” on the Left believe the collusion story. Everyone else knows her campaign and the DNC paid for the whole charade.

If Joe Biden wins, leftists have made it very clear what they will do. The threats of continued violence by their antifa/Black Lives Matter anarchists will be turned loose. Properties will be destroyed as well as lives and livelihoods in the name of “justice.” Biden talked about a “dark winter” coming. Leftists will try to help that along anyway they can.

But let me be clear about one thing. We are a country of strong, God-fearing, patriotic people. We are people of prayer. We have faced many dark days in the history of our nation. We are not a nation of quitters. We are not a nation of people who will watch their country being torn down and do nothing. We will not surrender these freedoms earned by the blood, sweat, and tears of our military heroes.

We are not a perfect nation, but we are a nation that worked hard to correct our failures. To those on the Left who think their threats of coercion will cause us to kneel at their feet, they have been listening to their own rhetoric. It will not end the way you think.
