In spite of bad polls and some bad press, Joe Biden beat expectations in Super Tuesday's voting. It's about time. He's been running for president since 1988 and didn't win his first state until a few days ago.
It's always important to keep things in proper perspective. That is particularly important as the nation grapples with the fallout from the novel coronavirus, which has infected 100 Americans and killed six people. Sadly, more people died Monday night from the tornadoes that ripped through Tennessee.
Steve Bannon was on Fox News discussing the coronavirus and its impact on U.S.-China relations. Bannon noted that one of President Trump's major goals has been to stop business as usual with China, specifically to "bring the supply chain back to the industrial democracies."
As I noted earlier this week, the left has nothing to offer on the coronavirus debate but hate and vitriol. The Trump administration is calling the shots, not Chuck Schumer, not Nancy Pelosi, not The New York Times.
President Trump's White House press conference Wednesday was a striking contrast to the left's carping and its attempts to politicize the coronavirus. The left politicizes everything — tornadoes, hurricanes, forest fires — so it's no surprise that it is trying to score cheap political points with a virus.
Anytime I think the left's hate can't get any worse, I am proven wrong. The left and its media allies are now doing everything possible to exploit the coronoavirus. They are attempting to stoke panic and they are promoting the baseless narrative that the president has failed to take appropriate steps.
Speaking to reporters in India, President Trump confirmed reports that White House officials are working to remove bureaucrats who are resisting his agenda. Axios first broke the news in a series of stories in recent days.
President Trump is currently making his first official visit to India, the world's largest democracy. The U.S.-India relationship is a critical counterweight to China's growing power and influence in Asia. It is also an important alliance in the fight against radical Islam.
Thursday night, all the evening news broadcasts led with the same story – Russia is meddling in the 2020 elections to reelect Donald Trump. Here we go again.
Wednesday night's Democrat debate was a bare-knuckles brawl right from the beginning. Barely three minutes into the debate, Elizabeth Warren came out swinging and landed multiple punches on Michael Bloomberg.
Well, Pete Buttigieg did it again. He used his faith to condemn conservatives during an interview Tuesday night on CNN.
Over the weekend, someone vandalized Plymouth Rock and several historical monuments to the Pilgrims in Plymouth, Massachusetts. These attacks on our history come as Plymouth prepares to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower's landing.
A constant theme on the left is that Donald Trump is a racist and his supporters are racists. Pete Buttigieg tried to soften the smear by saying that conservative voters were "at best looking the other way on racism." This obscene accusation is demonstrably false.
Once again, the Democrats and their media enablers are screaming "IMPEACHMENT!" This time it's the faux controversy stemming from Roger Stone's sentencing recommendation. To be clear, neither the attorney general nor the president have done anything irregular or illegal, much less impeachable.
Here are some observations based on the results of Tuesday's New Hampshire primaries.
Attorney General William Barr had a big day Monday. He began the day by announcing indictments against four members of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. According to the Justice Department, they are responsible for the massive Equifax hack in 2017 that compromised the personal data of nearly 150 million Americans.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo addressed the National Governors Association this weekend. It may seem odd that America's top diplomat was addressing our governors, who are generally preoccupied with domestic issues rather than foreign policy.
The White House announced Thursday that U.S. forces took out Qasim al-Rimi, the leader of Al Qaeda in Yemen and a top deputy to Al-Qaeda's "supreme leader" Ayman al-Zawahiri. Al-Rimi is at least the fourth major terrorist leader taken out by the Trump administration and our tremendous warriors.
Yesterday, President Trump and Vice President Pence addressed the 68th annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC. Every president since Dwight Eisenhower has spoken at this annual bipartisan event. But this year was different, coming on the heels of the bitter sham impeachment.
President Trump's State of the Union address was one for the history books. As he often does, this president brought his unique flare to a staid Washington tradition and left his critics seething and his supporters cheering.
