Are We Beyond Reasoning With the Marxist Left?
I am trying to understand and reason with individuals who believe that disagreement is a recipe for violence, and yes, death.

I believe myself to be a reasonable fella. I study issues and seek out viable, reasonable solutions. I do not seek to engage in hyperbolic statements or chase conspiracy theories, albeit now, less and less, they appear to be such. I study history and political theory in order to gain a greater understanding of principles, philosophies, and ideologies. After all, King Solomon did state that there is nothing new under the sun.
However, I am finding myself, and perhaps some of you are as well, asking the question that is the title of this missive. Notice, I did not say Democrats; that is far too simplistic. This is about a philosophy of governance, an ideology, that has been festering as a cancer in this Nation and now is in full display.

The Consequence of Speaking Is… Death?
Now, as Solomon said, there is nothing new about this when studying the progression of Marxism from its inception in “The Communist Manifesto” to today. What is quite disconcerting to me is when people reject having a conversation, which is the clear motivation and deduction from the Charlie Kirk assassination. What is the recourse? Yes, I hear ya, try even more so to have the open discourse and debate, got it. But we have entered into very dangerous territory.
Consider the social media post of a female pop music performer saying that the proper song for Charlie Kirk’s Memorial service should have been “Pop Goes the Weasel.” And this follows after countless instances of leftists actually cheering on Kirk’s assassination. Why? Members of Congress, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is truly an intellectual lightweight, denigrated Kirk after his assassination because he did not have a college degree. In the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination and memorial service, we have Marxists and leftists crowding the media platforms, decrying Christian nationalism. Now, all of a sudden, Kirk’s service reminds leftists of Nazi rallies. Well, so much for tamping down the rhetoric stuff.
Hillary Clinton. Miss Basket of Deplorables was on MSNBC assailing white Christian men as the problem. Delusional leftist Keith Olbermann issues a direct threat to conservative CNN commentator Scott Jennings, telling him that he is next. Leftists are hot, raging mad about Jimmy Kimmel, who made a false, politicized statement on his show; they do not believe there are consequences to lying.
Who Can Speak for the Left? Anyone…?
Yes, I would like to reason and have an intellectual debate, but with whom? When confronted with factual assessments, the conversation is diminished into a name-calling, shouting fiasco, like what I experienced at the University of Buffalo a few years back. Or how about my speaking at Northwestern University on the topic of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), aka the Iranian Nuclear Agreement? The first question addressed to me was, “Do you identify as Black?” That was an authentic “Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot” moment. How does one “reason” with such an absurd inquiry?
New York Democrat Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan once stated, “You are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts”. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard this nonsense from leftists: “That is your truth.”
Recently, President Trump came out and announced that a contributor to the autism crisis in America is pregnant women taking Tylenol. What was the leftist response? Young pregnant women making videos of themselves gulping down Tylenol pills. How the heck can you reason with a mentality that says, “Screw my child, I hate this person so much.” Then again, we are talking about an ideology that embraces infanticide and dismembering unborn children in the womb. Oh, by the way, that is an idea fostered by a REAL white supremacist whose principles were adopted by the Nazis, Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood. I guess those Code Pink ladies are a bunch of racists?
A Right to Violence?
In the aftermath of the brutal stabbing death of young Iryna Zaretska on a Charlotte, NC light rail train by a known felon, here is the answer from black leftists. Blacks have a right to violence. How does one reason with someone who believes that they have a right to kill an innocent woman, sitting on a train, minding her own business? How does one reason with people who would elect a Marxist-Islamist who says he will make New York City a sanctuary for illegal immigrants? I guess Zohran Mamdani is ok with more women, innocently riding a NYC subway, being set afire by a criminal, illegal immigrant. I mean, after all, Mr Abrego Garcia, the Maryland Man, is just your kind, everyday neighbor, and we should have more U.S. senators having margaritas with criminal, illegal immigrant gang members and human traffickers.
With Whom Am I Supposed to Reason?
Consider Virginia US Senator, Tim Kaine, a former Governor of that State, saying that our individual rights do not come from the Judeo-Christian faith heritage of God, the Creator, but that our rights come from the government. This from a man who represents the State that gave us the author of the Declaration of Independence, who referred to the “laws of Nature and Nature’s God”, directly correlating to English political philosopher John Locke and Natural Rights theory. I mean, how does one reason with an ideological idiot who apparently has never studied the Declaration of Independence, and hails from the State of Thomas Jefferson, 3rd US President, and founder of the University of Virginia.
Shall we continue to tolerate the intolerant? Shall we continue to believe in the “coexist” bumper sticker on the cars of those who incessantly display their delusional obfuscation and equivocation when confronted with truth and reality? Marxist leftists in America are telling us that words are weapons and that, basically, as with Charlie Kirk, constitutional conservatives are getting what they deserve. Leftists are enacting violence against law enforcement agents who are enforcing the law. Oops, illegal immigration is their religion.
Gender dysphoric individuals are arming up and shooting school children. Oops, sorry, they feel threatened because we don’t recognize their pronouns.
Leftists hate the National Rifle Association and other Second Amendment advocacy groups so much that they have created their own, the Socialist Rifle Association. I don’t mind any legal law-abiding Americans exercising their Second Amendment right, but when the purpose is to take aim and kill your political opposition, well, that dawg don’t hunt.
So, please, Marxist leftists, with whom am I supposed to reason? Heck, Joe “Autopen” Biden even told me that I was not Black if I did not vote for him. Virginia Lt. Gov. and Gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears, a US Marine, was booed recently at a football game by Black people. Lt. Gov. Sears is a legal immigrant who came here from Jamaica and is the first female Lt. Gov. in the history of the State that produced our first General and President, and the authors of our Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. Do ya think Lt. Gov. Sears can have a reasonable conversation with those who booed her just because she is not a mindless lemming who believes, as I do, that her skin pigmentation dictates her principles, values, and political philosophy?
Here’s the deal: I hope this missive gets into the hands of some Marxist leftists. I know that Charlie Kirk offered Van Jones an opportunity to have an open conversation. Hey Van, I am more than happy to step in and fill Charlie Kirk’s absence. The question is, are you? Heck, are any of these Marxist leftists? Or do they just think we can be coerced, intimidated, threatened, and forced, by violence, into silence?
Come, let us reason together because you never want to force freedom-loving people into a corner. Almost 250 years ago, that is what the British did.
