True to his word, President Trump’s administration announced a series of actions Thursday to protect children from transgender ideology. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., said:
 
“So-called ‘gender affirming care’ has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage on vulnerable young people. This is not medicine. It is malpractice. We’re done with junk science driven by ideological pursuits… Sex-rejecting procedures are neither safe nor effective treatment for children with gender dysphoria.” 
 
Here’s what the Trump administration is doing to protect our children: 

• The administration is instituting new rules prohibiting federal funding for transgender procedures and banning hospitals that receive federal funding from performing sterilizing and mutilating surgeries on children. 

• Secretary Kennedy signed a memorandum stating that sex-rejecting procedures “do not meet professionally recognized standards of health care.” 

• The Food and Drug Administration is sending letters to the makers of breast binders, which can be medically necessary for some women. The FDA is warning companies that their products are being misused as medical devices to make a girl appear more like a boy. 

• The Department of Health and Human Services is repealing a Biden-era regulation that classified gender dysphoria as a “disability.” 

• The National Institutes of Health has terminated grants that promote sex-rejecting procedures, including funding to the American Academy of Pediatrics, which has been hijacked by radical left-wing activists.

 
You may remember that toward the end of the 2024 campaign, I attended a faith leaders’ summit with President Trump. Before the event, Trump sent me a message saying he was going to take questions from the audience and wanted me to ask him what he would do about trans ideology. He was concerned that the issue might not come up, and he wanted to make sure it did.
 
We have a true ally in President Trump. This is a president who wants to fight for our values!
 
In related news, the House of Representatives passed two bills last week that would ban federal funding for transgender procedures and make these mutilating procedures on children illegal. Ninety-eight percent (98%) of House Democrats opposed both bills.
 
 
 
Left-wing Lunacy
 
Of course, Democrats and the fake news media are going nuts over this announcement. Reading the front-page story in today’s Washington Post is like reading something from an alternate universe.
 
The whole story is spun to make someone who hasn’t thought about the issue believe that the president has just launched an attack on “healthcare for children.” It is beyond disgusting!
 
I am sure there is a place where leftists sit around all day to think of innocuous names for their radical, anti-Judeo-Christian policies. Castrating a little boy, cutting off the breasts of a young girl, and giving them powerful drugs ensuring they can never have children is—drumroll—"gender affirming care.“ This is right out of Orwell’s 1984!
 
Here’s another of their absurd phrases: the child was "assigned the wrong sex at birth,” as if a mistake was made. Other than the child’s name, nothing was “assigned” at birth. Doctors didn’t make a guess about sex or gender. It is obvious!
 
Anyone who can’t get this right has no business making serious policy decisions.
 
Ironically, the only people doing any misgendering are the Left and the trans radicals. They are the ones assigning the wrong gender to biological boys and girls.
 
If a little boy puts his mother’s high heels on, suddenly they assign him the female gender, saying he’s really a girl. And then, they mutilate the child’s body so he can never reverse the misgendering the Left has given him. Leftist ideologues are causing those children irreparable harm.
 
And yet somehow, they are given the moral high ground in the major newspapers and media in America.
 
Do you remember how outraged we were when we discovered that fundamentalist Muslims were performing surgeries on their little girls so they could not feel sexual pleasure? It’s barbaric. Who ever heard of such things? That’s what is done in some backwater cultures where women and children are treated like cattle.
 
Yet here in America, the elites of our medical establishment think it’s perfectly okay to make millions of dollars performing mutilating procedures on extremely vulnerable, very confused children. But the Left wants you to believe that Donald Trump is the guy who is “threatening” the health of children.
 
 
 
Guilty
 
Do you remember Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan? She tried to help a criminal illegal alien escape her courtroom without being apprehended by federal immigration police. She was indicted and found guilty Thursday of obstructing federal officers.
 
Of course she was guilty! But I had no expectation she would actually be convicted. Liberal juries in some Blue jurisdictions are engaging in “jury nullification.” They are refusing to enforce the law because it violates their leftist ideology.
 
So, if there were a couple of left-wing jurors who support open borders and oppose “Trump’s Nazi immigration police,” they probably wouldn’t let anything happen to this “progressive” heroine. 
 
During sentencing, Dugan may just get a slap on the wrist from a fellow liberal judge, but she could get 5 years in prison. I would strongly argue for a stiff sentence because we can’t have officers of the law undermining the law!
 
 
 
Poll Position
 
We all know that the November 2026 elections will be tough. Republicans are fighting against a historical pattern that is very well established: Since World War II, the party of the president in power has lost an average of 26 House seats in midterm elections.
 
Republicans have no margin for error because the GOP has a very slim majority. We saw last week just how weak that majority is when four “moderate” Republicans jumped ship and sided with Democrats to support the Schumer/Jeffries scheme to save Obamacare.
 
There is also the constant media lie that President Trump has messed up the economy.
 
In the polls, the president is underwater on the economy, and many analysts say that means Republicans are facing a massacre in the elections. Well, maybe. That depends on a lot of things, including the quality of GOP candidates and how smart their strategies are.
 
But a new Quinnipiac poll shows that voters give congressional Republicans a 7-point advantage over the Democrats on handling the economy. To me, that suggests every Republican candidate should run boldly on the economy.
 
They should say, “My party has always known how to generate economic growth. Their party is increasingly socialist, pushing big government regulations, and hostile to job creators.”
 
I think this poll is some of the best news we have heading into the critical 2026 elections that could make or break the president’s America First agenda.
 
 
 
The Homeless Hero
 
Congratulations to the FBI and law enforcement personnel from a number of jurisdictions for tracking down the Brown University and MIT assassin. It is too bad that the murderer committed suicide. That will make it more difficult to determine his motive.
 
But the incompetence of officials at Brown University was on full display for everyone to see. The witness that eventually helped them identify the suspect is a homeless man!
 
There are 1,200 cameras all around Brown University. The university’s police force employs 95 people. At least 50 of them are sworn police officers on a campus that is less than a quarter of a square mile in size.
 
And a homeless man breaks the case.
 
I am also surprised at how regular people can look at things and come to conclusions that evade the so-called “experts.”
 
The video of the suspect shows a man walking with his hands clasped behind his back. Several people said that is not the way an American man walks in the streets. It is a very European and Middle Eastern way of walking. Lo and behold, the murderer was from Portugal.
 
It’s also clear from the video that he was out of shape. But police initially arrested a young, fit man right out of the U.S. Army. When he was wrongly arrested, the investigation stopped, likely resulting in the murder of the MIT professor two days later.
 
 
 
Good News 

• The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals issued a unanimous decision affirming President Trump’s authority to deploy National Guard troops to Washington, D.C. 

• Under heavy pressure from the Trump administration and a lawsuit, the State of Massachusetts has backed down and will no longer require foster parents to affirm a child’s gender delusions. 

• Hunter Biden has been disbarred in Connecticut due to his gun and tax evasion convictions. 

• Billionaire Ray Dalio is donating $75 million to support the creation of Trump Accounts for children.
