Snowstorm Miscellaneous
I got lots of pushback on my North Korea article, mostly from my conservative “Never Trump” friends. Key disagreements were as follows...

Saluting School Choice for Military Families
Americans who join the military know they’ll be making sacrifices. They put their lives on the line, obviously, but beyond that, they know they’ll have no say in where they live. Indeed, frequent moves are often part of the package.

Yes, Texas Does Have the Right to Punish Sanctuary Cities
In a resounding victory for the State of Texas, the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has thrown out almost all of a preliminary injunction issued by a lower court that was preventing the Lone Star State from enforcing a state law going after sanctuary cities such as Austin, the state’s capital.

Austin Bomber Dead
There was breaking news Tuesday night that Mark Anthony Conditt, the individual responsible for terrorizing Texas with a series of package bombs, has been killed. Law enforcement gained several tips from video surveillance after a bomb exploded earlier this week at a FedEx facility.

King of the Ill: Pro-Life Dem Tops Party Rivals
Planned Parenthood is betting $20 million that it can change the outcome of the midterm elections.

The Death Penalty, Humane and Painless
Oklahoma played a key role in the effort to make capital punishment more humane.

Democrats Dream of Capturing California Districts
On a recent Sunday evening, Katie Hill, 30, whose father is an LA police lieutenant in Beverly Hills, boarded a red-eye flight to Washington for frenetic fundraising and networking.

Our Long History of Misjudging North Korea
North Korea has befuddled the United States and its Asian allies ever since North Korean leader Kim Il Sung launched the invasion of South Korea in June 1950.

No-Drama Obama vs. Trump ‘Chaos’
Conservative watchdog organization Media Research Center examined the nightly news coverage of President Donald Trump on ABC, NBC and CBS in January and February and concluded that the stories were 91 percent negative.

The Russian (S)election
Perhaps Vladimir Putin was using his experience meddling in U.S. elections to meddle in his own.

Give Me Your ‘Dreamers’...
Does anyone know why President Trump loves “Dreamers” — i.e.: illegal aliens allegedly brought here before the age of 12 (which no federal judge will ever check) by their parents (which no federal judge will ever check), “through no fault of their own” (which no federal judge will ever check)?

A Little Too Much Reality in the Show?
Watching the parade of porn stars, reality TV contestants and former Playboy models lining up to lambaste the president of the United States, as well as the daily trove of stories of wife beating, naked nepotism, gambling and official corruption among his Cabinet members and White House staff, I was reminded of a story Bill Buckley once told.

Goodbye, Andrew McCabe. And No More Tears
If you followed the soap opera drama that the mainstream media orchestrated against the Trump administration last week, you got your money’s worth.

Swamp Spending 101: The Omnibus Spending Bill
Republicans are once again proving why they actually deserve the label of the biggest swamp spenders.

Flying Monkeys in ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ Flying Rivers for Al Gore
Oh my. We have moved from “flying monkeys” in “The Wizard of Oz” to “flying rivers” also threatening our well-being.

At SCOTUS, Give Free Speech Life
Even a driving rain at the Supreme Court couldn’t keep the crowd of pro-lifers away. Despite yesterday’s downpour, they flocked to the marble steps — the final stop of a three-year battle to protect free speech. Abortion activists were there too, blasting their speakers every time a conservative got up to talk. It turned out to be the perfect example of what this case is all about. While we were fighting to be heard outside, attorneys inside argued why California shouldn’t be allowed to drown pro-lifers out.

Another School Shooting
There was a shooting yesterday morning at a Maryland high school about 60 miles southwest of Washington, DC. Early reports indicate that two students were injured, and no one other than the shooter was killed.

Stop Making Children Into Moral Authorities
On March 14, high school students from Parkland, Florida, led a school walkout in favor of gun control. The media have already appointed student witnesses of the horror at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School untouchable moral authorities; their opinions are not to be questioned.

The ‘Pro-Truth’ Media Back McCabe’s Lying
NBC News star Chuck Todd recently made a lectern-pounding speech to attendees of a journalism awards dinner.

Climate Exit
President Trump’s pick to be the new secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, is not a fan of the Paris climate agreement.
