Russia Not the Only Actors in the 2016 Election
The indictment of 13 Russians and three companies for allegedly creating a “sophisticated network designed to subvert the 2016 election and to support the Trump campaign” is only half the story.

Three Heads Are Better Than 535
Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, and Jamie Dimon versus the entire United States Congress? My money is on Buffett, Bezos, and Dimon. These men, three of the wealthiest, most influential, and powerful business leaders in the world, recently announced an alliance that will attempt to address the tangled knot that is the U.S. health care system.

Mueller Indictment Does Not Show Russian Collusion by the Trump Campaign
The criminal indictment of 13 Russians for allegedly trying to influence “U.S. political and electoral processes” provides no evidence of any collusion between these Russians — or any other Russian officials — and the Trump campaign in the 2016 presidential race.

The Russian Bot Hysteria
If only Joe McCarthy had lived to see this moment, when it is suddenly in vogue to attribute large-scale events in American politics to the hand of Russia and to inveigh against domestic subversion.

Left-Wing Collusion
Rob Goldman, Facebook’s vice president for advertising, said some extraordinary things last week. After news broke of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s indictments against 13 Russian individuals and three organizations, Goldman went on a tweet storm debunking major media myths about the Russia investigation.

On Russia, Media Sticks to Its Foregone Collusions
There’s the media’s usual treatment of conservatives — guilty until proven innocent — and then there’s the Donald Trump treatment: guilty *even after* proven innocent. Unfortunately for this president, there’s no winning under this toxic cloud of media bias. Barack Obama could do no wrong — and Donald Trump can do no right. Even after a nine-month investigation proves he is.

‘We Have to Do Something’
The gun control debate is complex. It pits rights against duties. It pits individualism against communitarianism. It pits gun owners against anti-gun activists, and law-abiding citizens against one another.

Pay Your Dues!
If your workplace is a union shop, are you forced to pay union dues? This week, the Supreme Court heard arguments about that.

Do Not Let the Children Lead
Where are all the grownups in times of crisis and grief? Don’t bother searching America’s prestigious law schools.

Stop Politicizing the Russia Investigation
The indictment issued on Friday by special counsel Robert Mueller shows a conspiracy of stunning sophistication by Kremlin-connected Russians, posing as American citizens or using stolen U.S. identities, to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Desperately Hating Clarence Thomas
Of all the desperate and futile attempts at revisionist history, few are as careless as the attempt to destroy the reputation of one of the finest Supreme Court justices this country has ever produced. Now comes another volley.

Investing in Opportunity
Included as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, signed into law by President Trump in December, was an important new initiative called the Investing in Opportunity Act.

Don’t Overestimate Trump’s Ability to Knowingly Collude With Russia
Despite the indictment of 13 Russian professional social media pranksters who worked to tip the 2016 election to Donald Trump, I remain somewhere between skeptical and agnostic on the question of whether or not Trump knowingly and secretly colluded with the Russians to win the election.

Victory! University Re-Invites Christian Speaker Who Triggered LGBT Students
The president of the University of Central Oklahoma personally invited renowned Christian speaker Ken Ham to deliver a speech on campus after student government leaders rescinded the original invitation.

Will Automation Kill Our Jobs?
A recent article in The Guardian dons the foreboding title “Robots will destroy our jobs — and we’re not ready for it.”

A Non-Alarmist Reading of the Mueller Russia Indictment
There’s been no shortage of breathless reaction to Trump-Russia special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s indictment of 13 Russians and three Russian organizations for their efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Obama’s Campaign Promise to Russia
It happened in the midst of America’s 2012 election year.

Franklin Graham: Christians Should Be Alarmed by Anti-Christian Rhetoric
Evangelical leader Franklin Graham said on the “Todd Starnes Radio Show” that every Christian in the nation should be offended and alarmed by recent anti-Christian rhetoric that was broadcast on ABC’s “The View.”

Goal-Post Movement
We’ve all been there. Your organization is facing a controversial issue with strong feelings on both sides, but side A is particularly vocal and adamant. The organization commissions a six-month study of the issue, which concludes that side A is out to lunch. Rather than defer to the study group, side A bad-mouths the study, spins the results, and moves the goal posts. It is so invested in its predetermined outcome that it simply can’t accept reality. That’s basically what we have with the Democrat reactions to the Russian indictment.

Effective Action Needed to Stop School Shootings
The reactions to this horror are predictable; we’ve seen them before. Rage, disgust, and sadness, of course, but other things, as well.
